Use of Propaganda Techniques:

 Card Stacking – is a propaganda technique that seeks to manipulate audience perception


of an issue by emphasizing one side and repressing another. Such emphasis may be
achieved through media bias or the use of one-sided testimonials, or by simply censoring
the voices of critics.
Example:

 Plain Folks – a propaganda technique that encourages one by showing that they are part
or are usually used by ordinary people.

 Bandwagon – a propaganda technique that encourages one to follow, join, or use a certain
person, group, or item because it is used by everyone or is in with the trend.
Example:
 Testimonial – a propaganda technique uses testimonies from known people to support
their claims.

 Transfer or Association – a propaganda technique that associates an object of appeal


with the product or the issue on hand.

 Name Calling – a propaganda technique that calls out an opposing force or rival as
negative.
