Overview: 

IGOW is basically a game of HORSE (or SKATE) modified to work for a larger group 
of players via the internet/social media. Each week we (the judges) will release a trick video 
and every player will have one week to replicate the same trick and submit their video! Best 
trick video each week wins $5 cash! If you miss a trick you get a letter; get 5 letters to spell 
W-H-O-O-P and you are out. Last one standing is the Winner! This is not a super serious 
competition, it is for fun and all skill level pilots are welcome to join! 
This game idea came about because we were looking for ways to get more people 
involved and participating in the battles of our Tiny Whoop Battle Group. In creating the 
contest we also wanted to get people out of their houses and common flying spots and out 
into the community. Hopefully our contestants will have many opportunities to share the 
positive message of Tiny Whoop during this competition!  
 

Whoop Requirements: 
 
All entries must be performed with ducted whoops that meet the following specifications: 
 
a. Must use a fully ducted whoop-style frame (just prop guards do not count) 
b. 85mm max diagonal motor to motor size 
c. Bushed and/or Brushless motors are both acceptable 
d. 1S, 2x 1S, and 2S batteries standard or HV are all acceptable. 8.7V Max! (Only 
exception = If you have an HD whoop and want to compete with it then 3S is 
acceptable for HD WHOOPS ONLY!! Must have HD footage if using 3S! Still 
85mm max frame size) 
e. Angle, Horizon and Acro/Air modes are all acceptable. 3D mode is not allowed. 
f. Any FPV camera angle is acceptable, but only one FPV camera is allowed. (No 
Camera switching “cheater” builds allowed) 
g. You are welcome to use different whoops for each week’s trick as long as they all 
meet the above specifications. 
 
 Game and CASH PRIZE Information: 
 
IGOW - An International Game of WHOOP is a contest that will be modified version of a 
classic game that most everyone has played before, often called HORSE in basketball or SKATE 
in skateboarding.  
 
a. All Players must submit one “Entry Trick Video” to enter the contest. Players 
only need to complete one of the two options. Entry Trick:

b. All Whoops used in the competition must meet all specifications described in 
“Whoop Requirements” above 
c. A Weekly Trick video will be released on Sundays and all players will have until 
the following Sunday at 11:59:59pm PST to submit their video entry avoid a letter. 
d. If no video is received by the deadline or the trick is not properly completed in 
the video submission then the player will receive a “letter.”  
e. If a player receives 5 letters (W-H-O-O-P) they will be eliminated from the 
game.  
f. Two Entry Trick Prizes will be given out; one for each entry trick option. The 
prize is a set of 12 (6 green/charged and 6 purple/storage) XT30 (or XT60) 3D 
printed TPU covers.  
g. A weekly cash prize of $5 for best trick/edit will be given out for each weekly 
trick.. (Payments send via PayPal) *Capped at 20 weeks of $5 prizes unless we 
can get a sponsor to allow us to give out more. I am putting up the cash prizes 
myself so I have to put some limit! 
h. The first 4 weekly winners will also win a $5 coupon for BetaFPV.com 
i. Daniel Sugano, Michael Anderson, and Jared B. Davis will be the judges for this 
contest. Their decisions are final. Some decisions may be put to a vote on 
facebook via the Tiny Whoop Battle Group Page. 
j. Prize for the Final Contest Winner (last man standing) will have the choice of 3 
prize package options: one package is a “Downtown Whoop” and a Ostrich Air

IGOW Game Entry- An International Game of WHOOP will begin accepting entries July 
1st-31th 2019 - You must enter the game during this time to be eligible for any prizes. 
 
a. Game Entries will be accepted anytime during the month of July 2019 
b. Weekly Tricks videos will begin the week of July 28th-August 4th 
c. Entry During July 1st-28th requires only submission of only one of two options 
initial entry videos (submission of both options are acceptable) 
d. If you enter after July 28th you also will have to complete the 1st weekly trick 
before the Sunday night deadline. 
e. July 31st is the last day contest entries will be accepted 
 
1. Entry Trick Option #1 = McRollnFlip = Roll and then Flip through McDonald’s Arches  
 
a. Fly one direction though one arch (left or right side does not matter) and 
perform a roll while passing through the arch (left or right roll are both 
acceptable) 
b. Then turn around and fly the opposite direction through the other arch and 
perform a flip while passing through the arch (front or backflip are both 
acceptable) 
c. Must fly through different sides of the arch and in opposite directions while 
performing the roll and flip. You can reverse the flip and roll if you would like. 
d. This trick should be performed at McDonald’s Sign (if you don’t have McDonald's 
near you then you can perform the trick on any similar sign or obstacle with two 
openings)

2. Entry Trick Option #2 = Loop Yourself = Do a powerloop of yourself 
 
a. Start by flying under the table/chair or through your legs in one direction 
 b. Then “powerloop” yourself (fly up and back over yourself vertically while doing a 
backflip to end up in the same area you started) and complete the trick by again 
flying under the table/chair or through your legs in the same direction 
c. You can use a chair or table most any basic piece of furniture to get you up a bit 
higher off the ground if you would like but it is not required.

Video Submission Rules: 

 
Submit your weekly videos by sending your trick video and/or YouTube or Instagram 
link to ​IGOWhoop@gmail.com​ You can find the weekly submissions posted as comments in the 
announcement area of this facebook group:

a. All weekly trick submissions must be received by 11:59:59pm PST on Sunday 
Night 
b. Each Sunday a new trick video will be released explaining and showing the trick 
requirements for that week. 
c. Each player will have one week to complete the trick and submit their weekly 
entry video. No time extensions sorry. 
d. Videos can be up to 60 seconds long (max). The only requirement to avoid a 
letter is to show the trick being performed from start to finish in real time with 
no edits. However, we encourage creative edits with music, sound effects, 
slow-mo, and even some LOS views. Make the clip as entertaining as possible! 
Just make sure you clearly show the trick being performed from start to finish at 
least once IN REAL TIME WITH NO EDITS somewhere in the video. 
e. Weekly Cash Prize winner will be revealed in weekly videos recapping all the 
submissions and will be chosen by the 3 judges.  
 
 
*All entries must be flown by the same pilot and must be new footage from the current week. 
 
a. No giving your buddy your transmitter to do the tricks for you! 
b. Please don’t use old footage if you happen to have done the trick(s) before. 
c. Honor system will be the only way we can enforce these rules. 
d. The idea for this competition is based on “The Global Game of Skate” run by 
Jonny Giger. The format will be very similar.

*Note: Obviously we are not responsible if you break your whoop or injure yourself, others, or 
damage property while attempting any tricks. If you do not feel safe or don’t want to take the 
risk of any trick you can just skip that week and it will only cost you a letter. Do not feel 
pressured into anything you do not want to try! This is all for fun!
