The Self4Society Portal & App
• The Self4Society platform comprises of the following:
– Self4Society Admin portal (self4society.mygov.in) for IT
Industry’s Corporate HR or CSR representatives, who will create the organizational profile and upload Initiatives
– Self4Society App (will be available on Google Play Store

The Self4Society portal will be
used by HR / CSR representatives to:
1. Enroll the organization
2. Create Initiatives for
employees Registration Process An organization can sign up on the Self4Society portal as a single entity, or as multiple campuses. Creating Initiatives • An Initiative is a set of tasks related to a national cause performed by a group of volunteers at a specific date, venue and time.
• HR / CSR representatives can
create Initiatives for their employees across national causes and their associated categories. – Financial Inclusion – Social Inclusion – Woman and Child – Digital Literacy – Swachh Bharat – Small Business Enablement Access to Organizational Network through Join Code
• A Join Code is a unique eight-digit
alphanumeric code specific to an SAMPLE JOIN CODE organization or each of its campuses.
• Join code should be circulated among
employees by the HR / CSR representative through internal channels.
• Employees require the organization’s
Join Code to log in to the Self4Society App for the employee experience. Log Employee Hours through QR Code
• Unique QR code is generated for each
Initiative.
• Initiative Organizer will carry physical
cutouts of the QR Code at the Initiative’s location.
• Volunteers can scan the code through
the Self4Society App on their mobile phones to mark their presence and log their hours of work. New India Champions Leaderboard • Goodness Points are a mechanism to credit the organizations who create Initiatives and the employees who volunteer.
• By earning greater Goodness Points,
organizations and their employees have the opportunity to be part of the New India Champions Leaderboard on the Self4Society platform that features the top five contributors among organizations and individuals. Self4Society Platform EMPLOYEES SELF4SOCIETY APP Self4Society App The Self4Society App will be used by employees to:
1. Access their organization’s
closed network for Initiatives
2. Volunteer for Initiatives
3. Mark their presence and log
hours worked
4. Create social media moments,
stories, follow colleagues, etc. Access to Organization’s Network
• Employees can download the
Self4Society App from Google Play Store and App Store.
• They can register on the
MyGov database using a simple OTP authentication process.
• To access their organization’s
closed network for social Initiatives, they need to enter the Join Code. The Self4Society App Experience • Employee Home is an interesting mix of Initiatives’ updates, organization’s updates and Stories by people being followed.
• Explore section allows the
employee to discover Initiatives and people to follow.
• Profile section, employee can view
their participated Initiatives and leaderboard rank, view their Network, and their contributions Enrollment on Self4Society Portal
Prior to the PM’s Townhall Event on October 24th, request all HR
/ CSR representatives to:
• Register and create organizational profiles on
self4society.mygov.in
• Encourage employees to download Self4Society App from
Google Play Store / App Store
• Float your organization’s unique Join Code among your
employees through internal channels Six-week Initiatives Plan
Prior to the PM’s Townhall Event scheduled on October 24th,
request all HR / CSR representatives to:
• Create Initiatives for national causes of their choice on
self4society.mygov.in for the next four to six weeks, focusing on organizing the first set of events on October 27th and October 28th (First weekend after PM Event)
• Encourage employees to volunteer for Initiatives via the
Self4Society App Support Structure
