In the modern society, some parents tend to underestimate the influence that

they have on their children and this has led to several negatie consequences.

The Effects of Bad Parenting on

Children
Antisocial Behavior
When a child demonstrates antisocial behavior, she doesn't consider how her
actions may harm others. According to the UK's Department for Education,
severe forms of antisocial behavior can lead to drug and alcohol abuse, poor
health, mental health problems, unemployment and adult crime. Parenting
styles that could lead to this type of behavior include inconsistent and harsh
parenting, as well as parental drug abuse, maternal depression and domestic
violence. Adults who are permissive, coercive, negative and have critical
attitudes are more likely to have children with antisocial tendencies.

Depression
In the article "Parenting and Its Effects on Children: On Reading and
Misreading Behavior Genetics" for the psychology journal "Annual Reviews,"
professor Eleanor E. Maccoby, Ph.D, of Stanford University links parental
negativity to child depression and the internalization of behaviors. In the
National Institutes of Health journal article "Relation of Positive and Negative
Parenting to Children's Depressive Symptoms" by Danielle H. Dallaire et al,
found that harsh and negative parenting behaviors correlated with symptoms
of depression in children. Other factors that may contribute to childhood
depression include low levels of overall support, parental depression, physical
punishment, unhealthy expression of negative emotions and a lack of
emotional support.
Aggression
In the report "Negative Parenting Style Contributes to Child Aggression" for
Psych Central, Rick Nauert, Ph.D., reports that researchers at the University
of Minnesota found that the explosive kindergarteners studied had poor
relationships with their mothers from an early age. The researchers concluded
that bad parenting during infancy contributed to childhood aggression. The
mothers studied handled their children "roughly," expressed negative feelings
towards their kids and had escalating conflicts with them. The researchers
concluded that negative parenting caused the children studied to demonstrate
"higher levels of anger," which made the mothers more hostile. What was not
studied was the relationship between the mother and the father, and how that
might have influenced the mother's feelings or behavior.

In short, because of these bad consequences, I hope parents will pay more attention
to the way they approach their children.

Nowadays teenagers are facing several

pressures and I will tell you some of them

3. Time-Management Stress
Stress increases at school and the older they get, the number of projects to be done, tests to cope
with, and social drama increases, not to mention sports and other extracurricular activities. On the
social front, a new and tantalizing horizon opens up—dating, partying, and hanging out with friends.
Meanwhile, they are constantly distracted by electronic media. A teenager learning to juggle all of
these expectations is under a lot of stress.
The teen is suddenly expected to act like an adult. They are expected to manage their work
independently, make and follow through on the right decisions, and manage their finances. Though
most parents complains about filthy bedrooms, untidy shelves and cabinets, smelly socks, missing
stuff, I wonder... where is the time!? They simply can't do it all, and the pressure makes them more
prone to anxiety and depression.

4. Social and Parental Pressure

Oftentimes, parents live through their children and expect their kids to achieve everything they
wanted but did not have. Expecting the teenager to get good grades, have great friends, excel in
extracurricular activities, and be well-behaved, responsible for themselves and sometimes for their
younger siblings is a lot of pressure. Added to this is peer pressure. To be accepted among peers
and to become "popular," teens feel pressured to conform in their tastes, behaviors, and
appearance.

When all the people surrounding the teenager are attempting to mold him/her into a different shape,
the pressure builds. Parents, teachers, family elders, siblings, friends, schoolmates, and social
groups all play a part and pull the teenager in different directions.

5. Mental and Physical Health Issues

All of these things affect a teenager's health:

 Poor nutrition. The eating habits of teens are poor and unmonitored. They are urged towards
eating disorders, either starving themselves or binging on unhealthy, fatty, high-calorie junk
food.
 Lack of sleep. In an effort to do and be it all, the teen sacrifices sleep. They require about nine
hours of sleep but on average, teens get roughly seven hours. This means that every day, they
are running at a deficit.
 Depression and anxiety. Hormonal changes, added to the chaos and strain of scheduling,
prioritizing, achieving, and fulfilling expectations, put a teen under considerable emotional
pressure. This is reflected in mood swings, aggression, depression, anxiety, and sometimes
even a complete breakdown.
Mental and physical health are connected. If your teen isn't healthy physically, it will have an affect
on his psychology, and vice-versa.
We cant deny the important role of English in the modern society.

International Relations
English is the primary language of business throughout the world. Most international business
transactions, including emails, memos, reports and contracts, are written in English. Frequently
translating purchase orders, forms, offers and correspondence is time consuming and potentially
fraught with errors.

Employment Opportunities
The ability to fluently speak English in addition to your native language can be beneficial if
you're seeking job opportunities with international companies. Many employers prefer or require
English speaking and writing proficiency. Job interviews for international business positions are
often conducted in English. The ability to speak this more universal business language can place
you a step ahead of the competition.

Entertainment and Media

Major Hollywood movies and many television shows popular around the word have dialogue in
English. The plot is easier to follow if the person watching the movie speaks English. Subtitles in
other languages can sometimes cause the meanings of words to be lost in the translation, and
they can be a distraction or even block the action taking place on the screen. Translating print
materials like books or magazines is also time consuming.

Travel and Tourism

The English language is predominantly spoken throughout the world, so international travelers
may find that speaking English can make their travels a little easier. Most hotel and restaurant
employees, as well as store merchants, probably speak English to some degree. Being able to
converse with people living in the area where you are vacationing adds to the richness of the
cultural experience.

In conclusion, English needs to be encouraged to teach at every school in the world

Friends can challenge us, confuse us, and sometimes, we might wonder why
we bother. But friendship is as important to our wellbeing as eating right and
exercising. What’s more, friendships help us grow through each year of our
lives.
Friends Help Us Interact With Just About Everyone
The people we bring into our lives as friends will show us how to forgive,
laugh, and make conversation. The basic components of any relationship,
from our marriage to our coworkers, are all founded in friendship. We learn
how to interact with people because of our friends, even the ones that are
opposite from us or share a different worldview.

We don’t just talk with others but learn from them. We understand the process
of meeting new acquaintances and finding out what makes them tick. These
people help push us out of our comfort zones while still providing a safe
emotional space for us to be totally ourselves.

Friends Keep Us Mentally and Physically Strong

One of the most overlooked benefits of friendship is that it helps keep
our minds and bodies
eping fit. A recent Harvard study concluded that having solid friendships
in our life even helps promote brain health.

Friends helps us deal with stress, make better lifestyle choices that keep us
strong, and allow us to rebound from health issues and disease more quickly.

Friendship is equally important to our mental health. One study even

suggested spending time with positive friends actually changes our outlook for
the better. That means we’re happier when we choose to spend time with
happy people. (All the more reason to leave that toxic friendship behind.)

Friends Improve the Quality of Our Lives

Friends can change our value system so we learn to inject more meaning into

our lives. In spending time with friends, we fill up our lives with great
conversation, heartfelt caring and support, and laugh out loud fun. When we
fall on hard times, friends are there to put things in perspective and help us.
When we have success, they’re smiling at our good fortune. With down-to-
earth, positive people in our life we will be more mindful of gratitude and doing
nice things for others. We don’t just live when we have healthy friendships,
we thrive.
How to Reduce Student
Stress and Excel in School
Manage Time Wisely

It’s important to give yourself plenty of time to work on your studies if you want to do well, and
you can save yourself a lot of stress if you plan with good time management skills.

Setting up a schedule for study, breaking up your studies into smaller chunks, and other time
management skills are essential.

Get Organized

Have a system of organization for note-taking, keeping track of assignments, and other important
papers. Being organized can bring you the peace of mind that comes from knowing where
everything is, remembering deadlines and test dates, and clearing your mind of some of the
mental clutter that disorganization brings.

Keep a calendar, a schedule, and a filing system for your school assignments, and you’ll find it
prevents a significant amount of stress!

Develop Optimism

It has been proven that optimists—those who more easily shrug off failures and multiple
successes—are healthier, less stressed, and more successful. While some level of optimism is
inborn, optimism is a state that can be practiced, and your overall levels of optimism can increase
as a result.

Develop the traits of optimism and you'll do better in your studies and your future career.

Get Enough Sleep

If you want your performance to be optimum, you need to be well-rested. Research shows that
those who are sleep-deprived have more trouble learning and remembering, and perform more
poorly in many areas. You can also be more reactive to stress when you are sleep-deprived, so
there are many reasons to focus on getting quality sleep each night.

Students are notoriously busy and sleep-deprived, so you may need to go against the grain at
times in order to protect your sleep schedule, but it will be worth it both now and in the
future. Work your schedule so you get enough sleep, or take power naps.
How to live a healthy life

Choosing Healthy Foods

Minimize your consumption of sweets, soft drinks, sugary fruit juices, and
white bread. Choose whole fruits, freshly-squeezed juices, and whole grain
bread instead.[9]
Eat a variety of different whole foods instead of eating processed
foods.[10]Whole foods offer a balance of healthy carbohydrates, proteins,
fats, and other nutrients.
Incorporate organic foods. Shop at a natural food store or buy food from
your local farmer's market. Organic foods are not more nutritious for you,
but they don't contain as much pesticide residue or food additives. They
are generally more eco-friendly, too.[11]

Getting Some Exercise

Start and finish your workout with stretching. Gentle stretching will
warm up your muscles before you work out and will relax your muscles
after you work out.[13]
Go to the gym 3 to 5 times per week. Work out for half an hour to an
hour, combining both cardio and strength training programs. Experts
recommend getting at least 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity every
week.[14]
Enjoy rigorous daily activities. Both high-intensity gardening and
housekeeping can exercise your body.[15] You can also incorporate more
activity into your daily routine by taking the stairs instead of the elevator,
parking farther away from shops, and taking a quick walk on your lunch
break.

Avoiding Unhealthy Habits

Stay away from fad diets. Avoid liquid diets, diet pills and other diet
supplements unless you are under the supervision of a physician. In
general, if a diet plan or product does any of the following, it's probably a
fad:[18]
Know what you weigh. Being overweight and being underweight are not
healthy states of being. Consult your doctor or a reputable weight chart that
shows ideal weights for your age and body type.
Avoid smoking and alcohol intake. Smoking is associated with a variety
of health risks, including heart or liver disease and many cancers. Alcohol
is also associated with health risks, including liver disease, cancer, heart
disease, alcohol poisoning, and depression.[19]

Remembering Good Hygiene

Shower every day. Shower again if you have performed an activity that
has made you sweat.[23] This will cut down on body odor, body acne, and
hygiene-related diseases such as scabies.

Wash your hands.[27] Wash your hands before and after preparing food,
after using the toilet, before and after treating a minor wound, and after
blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.[28]
Need a pick-me-up? It's tempting to got for a pint, order a pizza or treat
yourself to some new shoes when you feel a bit low, but putting 15 minutes
aside to practice yoga every day could transform your mood (and your health)
in more ways than you could imagine.

Wherever you are and whatever you're doing, it's easy to squeeze in just 15
minutes of yoga practice a day. Here are 10 reasons why it will be worth it:

1. Improve flexibility, strength, and posture

Daily yoga practice will help stretch and tone your body muscles. Popular
poses like the plank will simultaneously work on strengthening your arms,
legs, shoulders and abs. You don't have to be super flexible to practice yoga,
the beauty of yoga is that it can be practiced at all levels of ability.

A few minutes a day practicing poses like the warrior or the downward facing
dog, will soon make you really feel the difference in your flexibility, whether
you're pretty bendy already or not.

2. Better all-round fitness

When thinking of improving your fitness, most of us think of huffing and
puffing away at the gym. But weights are not the only way to work out. Yoga
gives you all that a gym can, but in a peaceful, safe and more holistic way. It
combines aspects of cardio, functional and strength training all in one. What
more could you ask for? The best part about this workout is that it can be
done at your own pace, in your own home.

4. Increase your energy

Just a few minutes of yoga every day will provide that much-needed energy
boost in our busy lives and will keep us fresh for longer. Yoga, with its unique
synergy of body and breath work, is perfect when your reserves are running
low.

Daily yoga practice will awaken the main energy centres (called chakras) in
our body. Great poses for extra energy are those that extend the spine, such
as the tree pose, allowing energy to circulate throughout the whole body, and
poses that open the chest, like the cobra pose, encouraging the intake of
more breath.

5. Reduce stress
Many work places now offer lunch-time yoga sessions because it's been
shown that yoga is an amazing stress buster. Any yoga practice, even a short
daily one, should be made up of three elements; poses, breathing and
meditation. Studies have shown that those people who regularly practice all
three elements are better able to regulate their heart-rate variability (HRV).
This generally means that their heart rate is lower, giving body the ability to
respond to stress in a more flexible way.

Are you coping with so much stress that it's keeping you awake at night?
Studies have shown that practicing daily yoga can reduce or even fully
prevent insomnia. When experiencing insomnia, practice relaxing asanas or
postures, such as forward fold (uttanasana) or lying on your back with your
feet up the wall. Relaxing yoga poses such as the forward fold or lying on
your back with your feet up the wall can calm both your body and mind.
A world without love, is a world I wouldn’t recognize.

A world that would not be able to sustain itself.

Mothers, would not be capable of nurturing their offspring, After all love is the first
sustenance given a child before its first drop of its mother’s milk.

Patricide, fratricide, matricide would be the law, without love only jealousy and
selfishness would have greater control over man.

We’d live in a dark world, of endless war, hate persecution.

Without love, individuals would live lives of self loathing. I equate, love with respect,
without love of self, you’d long yourself out of existence. Imagine what you’d do to others
without love…

We don’t realize that every stranger we meet, we love. A subconscious love. Not a romantic
love, but a love that searches in each individual to find common denominators, something
that makes us live side by side in harmony.

The stranger you measure on the street, we are searching for something in them that
parallels our own logic, unbeknownst to us we do find it, not aware that we have, that is
why we can sit side by side, and exist.

I choose to look at people and find something good in each, after all we are very complex.
Man is fundamentally good, without love it would not be so.

Love nurtures acceptance.

We usually communicate others in several ways and these communication ways differ based on
the person we are communicating and our convenience of communication devices. For
instance, we usually communicate via email with our clients and co-workers while we prefer
using a mobile phone to communicate our friends of family members.

My favourite way of communication is the mobile phone. This is mostly because, it is cheaper,
easy to use, easily accessible, movable, easily fit in the bags and pockets, could be used for
using the internet and other necessary applications, cheaper call rate and offer effective
communication.

I have a personal mobile phone and when someone calls me, I can see the information of the
caller and receive the phone using the touch or tap in a button. After the conversation is done, I
just need to put the phone in the pocket. This is as simple as that. Whenever I want to call
someone, I just need to dial his/ her number and after s/he receives the call, the connection is
on. Besides the calling, someone can easily send and receive texts on the phones which also
serve a good way of communicating others. I own a cell phone for more than 10 years and I find
it very convenient for communication on personal and official matters.

There are many reasons I prefer this way communication. First of all, it is easy to carry and we
can take it wherever we go. The calling rates are very cheap nowadays and we can refill the
credit of our cell phones very easily. Calling locally and internationally both are supported and
hence I prefer to have it as my primary way of communication. Phone calls reach the recipient
instantly unlike mail and email and this is why this is a very efficient way of communication when
we need to reach someone urgently.
