I. OBJECTIVES
A. Content Standard The learners demonstrate an understanding of:

the use of advanced tools and techniques found in common productivity


and software applications in developing ICT content for specific
professional tracks

B. Performance The learners shall be able to:

to create or develop ICT content for use in specific professional tracks

These may be in form of, but not limited to:


1. Calculating spread sheet of athletic statistics (Sports)
2. Layout of catalogue of creative works (Arts)
3. Materials/ingredients projections for batches of baked goods
(Tech-Voc)

C. Learning At the end of the learning experience, the students should be able to:

estimation using MS Excel.

 Accounting number format – a number format that is used for accounting
Discussion  Orientation – the angle at which a text is displayed
 Count – a function used to count the cells with content in a range
 Sum – function used to compute for the summation of the number of a
range
 Average – a function used to compute for the average of the number of a
range
 COUNTIF – a function used to count the cells with a specified content
within a range
 SUMIF – a function used to compute for the summation of a range if a
certain condition is met
 AVERAGEIF – a function used to compute for the average of a range if a
certain condition is met
 Range – the range of cells where you want to look for criteria
 Criteria – a value or label that determines if a cell is part of the range to
be averaged
 Average Range – the actual range of cells that will be averaged, if
committed, the range will be used instead.

E. Application The learners will be given a class record for analysis using some MS Excel
conditional functions.
