CHAPTER IV- PLANS OF ACTIONS FOR EVERY HAZARD

HAZARDS SIGNAL CODE PERSONS IN-CHARGE VICINITY LOCATION

*The school can design signal protocols for every human-induced hazard which maybe applicable to
them.
Examples:

1. Three-Long Whistles. Everybody who hears the signal must relay the whistle to all
the surrounding. Then the committee in-charge will immediately be activated and execute the
plan.

2. For schools with enough two-way radio, the school can craft a communication plan for
immediate coordination and dissemination.

3. For Schools with buzzers, these can be used. Three Long Buzzers can be used to alarm
everybody and follow steps in No. 1.
CHAPTER V- SCHOOL POLICIES
School together with the School Governing Body will make policies which shall be implemented in
the school. Such policies must be disseminated to all students, and parents.
Examples:
1. No ID No Entry Policy. For schools with Security Guards, they must seek Identification and or
permit for all unidentified persons who wish to get inside. Or the guard must call first the person
they are looking for if he/she knows the person looking for them.
2. For students, No one must fetch them except for the person assigned or any member of the
family. The adviser must prepare again the Learners’ Information and Tracking System which
must be posted in every room and copies of which must be given to the School DRRM
Coordinator, security guard and the school head
3. No Vendors must be allowed inside except if they have secured written permit duly signed by the
Schools Division Superintendent Only.
4. Conduct drills with regards to the family reunification plan.
5. Implement the Child Protection Policy
6. Prepare a diagram or flow chart to be followed in every aspect
7. Etc.
