Specifically, it attempted to answer the following questions:
1. What is the level of the pupils’ mastery of Basic Science Process Skills in terms of : 1.1 observing; 1.2 communicating; 1.3 classifying; 1.4 measuring; 1.5 inferring; and 1.6 predicting? 2. What is the perception on pupils’ attitude toward science in terms of : 2.1 teaching strategy; 2.2 academic Value; 2.3 Science Activity; and 2.4 classroom environment? 3. What is the level of pupils’ performance in science in terms of the following cognitive process dimensions? 3.1 remembering; 3.2 understanding; 3.3 applying; 3.4 analyzing; 3.5 evaluating; and 3.6 creating? 4. Is the mean level of pupils’ mastery of science process skills significantly related to performance in science? 5. Is there a significant relationship between pupils’ attitude and performance in Science?
