Technical Meeting
Spelling Bee Competition

Rule:
1. The competition will be started at 10.00 a.m., thus, every participant
MUST COME half hour before the competition begins. The re-registration
will be held at 09.30. The competitor who comes LATE will be DISQUALI-
FIED.

2. The participants for the event will be:

a. Speller : the competitor

b. Pronouncer : people who give the words to the speller

c. Judge : people who score the speller

3. Spellers will be placed based on the number they have chosen.

4. Spellers must join all rounds without exception. Do not leave the room
before the competition finishes.

5. Please do bring drink for yourselves but we insist to not bring any kind of
food to the room.

3. If the speller thinks that the word is NOT CLEAR enough. They may ask
for:

a. Repetition

b. Example

Speller can only ask one of three choices listed as the assistance.

4. The speller has 1 (one) minute to spell.

6. When the speller is sure about the answer. Please spell the question by:

“APPLE. A-P-P-L-E. APPLE”

7. DO NOT make noise during the game.

8. DO NOT give or ask any help to other speller.

9. If the answer is correct, the speller will continue to the next round. But when there is a “ding” bell rings, it
means that the speller produces the incorrect speller and automatically, she/he can not join the next
round.

10. In every end of the round, the speller who can not join to the next round needs to move to the back of the
row.
