Technical Specification for Hot Dip Galvanized Grating, Type- II (PR No: 3000013291)

1. Material for the gratings shall confirm to the following standards.

a) Flats: IS 2062. Grade A, 25 X 6mm @ 35c/c
b) Rods: ISRO 12@ 75c/c
2. Coating: zinc coating, 900 gm/M2 minimum
3. Gratings shall be hot dipped galvanized in accordance with IS 2629.
4. Frame & Load bars Welding: All the four corners shall be fully welded and load bearing
bar shall be welded to frame bars by welding at both the ends as per BS-4592
5. Tolerance of width & length – (Minus) 5mm, for thickness + 0.5mm
6. Standards specification of the gratings attached (MRPL std 00-ES-900-001 for reference)
7. Material shall be supplied along with MTC duly witnessed by TPI Agency.
8. TPI required for the material supplied by any one of the Agencies like
TUV/DNV/BVIS/EIL/LLYODS/TEIL/LRIS ONLY.
9. QAP approval is required before Manufacturing.
