SUBJEC : Progress Report re Swindling Incident

1. Reference Spot Report dated May 17, 2018 re Swindling Incident.
2. This pertains to the alleged Swindling incident transpired at Brgy. 1, San
Francisco, San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte particularly at Robinson’s Mall wherein the victim
was identified as Emmanuel Domingo y Carpio, 84 years old, married and a resident of
Brgy. 2, San Baltazar, San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte with MGRS no. 51Q TA 45314 11784,
Latitude no. 18.180123, Longtitude no. 120.592311.
3. Please be informed that at about 10:00 AM of May 18, 2018, Investigation
personnel of this office together with KIMAT members from 2nd District Cluster 1 of
INPPO led by PCI MARLON S PADAMADA under the direct supervision of PSUPT
JUGITH J DEL PRADO, OIC conducted follow-up investigation at Robinson’s Mall San
Niolas and coordinated with Ms. Glenda Alonzo, Operation Manager of Robinson’s Mall,
San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte to furnish a copy of cctv footages captured inside the said
mall particularly at the gate 3 of the old building where the victim entered at about 10:13
AM of May 17, 2018 before he was approached by the suspects. A copy of cctv
footages of Joms Autoparts and Gen. Merchandise was viewed by the team wherein a
small portion viewed on the cctv footages was only captured the victim was walking
along the shoulder of the highway heading east direction.
4. Likewise, this office also coordinated at BPI San Nicolas Branch to furnish
us a copy of any transaction or record on the account of the victim (Emmanuel
Domingo) subsequently the victim was visited by the team at his house after which
presented a copy of rouges of suspect/s sent by other stations but the victim failed to
recognize.
