FINAL YEAR PROJECT


Problem Statement: Passing through the toll plaza; user has to wait if s/he wants to recharge his/her e-tag account.
Title of Project: Making a device which helps the user to recharge his/her account from anywhere in the country.
Solution: No lines of cars, no wastage of fuel, no wastage of time, and no further wait in summer days.
Communication: Communicating the toll main server which is based on the Zigbee Technology with the GSM
Network through the SIM card and a data base.

INTERNSHIP
I have 4 months internship experience in the Telecommunication Services Network in Telecom Implementation
department as Field Internee on Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) Telenor Pakistan Project.

EXPERIENCE Field (NOC Engineer)


Joined Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd as a Site Reduction Engineer on Moblink Mega Swap Project since
16-Dec-2013.

Responsibilities:

Escalation/follow-up till resolution of Low Votlages / Outages and service affecting alarms to Field Teams.
Remote monitoring of the Power Cube sites on hourly basis(Net Eco NOC).
Fuelling approval by analyzing the previous data.
Fuel reports on daily basis Nation wide. Analysis of fuel utilization with respect to CP and DG.
Configuring the New Swapped Power Cube sites in Net Eco Server.
Making reports on hourly and daily basis of fueling/wapda/T Prime Sites/ Generator running etc.
Handling different technical issues of the Power Cube sites i.e., Huawei rectifier.
Handling all the daily maintenance issues of Power Cubes.
Supporting the subcon engineers for their issues i.e., technical support for operation and installation.
Having extra ordinary knowledge about the power equipments and their operation, including Rectifiers, generator,
Mains, Batteries, SAUs, transmission, distribution and generation of high voltages.
Analyzing the abnormal sites for the unknown issues.
Troubleshooting the site from their integrated reports.

EXPERIENCE Field (Installation Engineer)


Responsibilities:
Interfacing the different rectifiers rectification systems having different technologies (Delta, Emerson, Eltek, Power
one etc) with the Huawei rectification system and monitoring their work.
Performing Power surveys for the installation of new system and swapping. i.e., solar installation/load
checking/solution installation based on load shedding trend/ power theft etc.
Observing and resolving all issues on sites in troubleshooting visits.
Leading many teams simultaneously to work on sites and resolving each of their issue.
Working by hand independently to install the new power equipment.
Configuring all site settings and alarms independently on site.
Worked as a quality engineer to check the appropriate quality of the work on sites done by subcontractors.

EXPERIENCE Field (Quality/Survey Engineer)


Responsibilities:
Processing nationwide surveys of the Ufone sites handed over to the Huawei for power swap.
Troubleshooting and selecting the sites for the swap depends on the current situation of the site including:
View of the surrounding, load of the site, site status, sharing status, access status, wapda status, generator status,
etc.
Delivery of Battery Banks Deployment Project (both ACB and Narada) and monitoring by Huawei rectifier,
installation by subcontractors and making sites more financial by reducing DG running and enhancing battery
backup.
Survey, Installation, Troubleshooting, ATP, PAC and FAC of all power swap sites to Huawei. Quality check of the
work done by subcontractors and presenting the work for acceptance to the concern customer. Delivering lectures
to the Customers about the functions of the newly installed systems.

EXPERIENCE Field (Telco O&M Engineer)


Responsibilities:
Successful self-Installation of DG Manual Relays project of high fuel consumption sites which helped to reduce the
theft to maximum level in region. Theft include both Fuel theft and power theft.
Successful self-Installation of LVDs (Low Voltage Devices) Project on remote and wapda low phases sites which
helped the operation of DG running and have successfully made ease in operation.
Successful delivery and replacing of battery cells on backup test based in re-utilization of dismantled healthy cells
on other sites in order to make network costs more economical.
Successful delivery of the Battery Banks deployment (ACB and Narada) Project.
Power cube troubleshooting and remote support region wise.

Daily troubleshooting visits.
