SUMMARY

I am a qualified Electrical (Power) Engineer recently employed with PNG Power Limited in the National Office
as Thermal Centers’ Reliability Engineer and Fuel Management Staff. I have 3 plus years of work experiences
with both private and state owned companies. Thus far, I have absorbed sufficient hands-on technical
engineering skills and techniques. I had also successfully designed and built a micro hydro prototype in my
final year thesis in 2018 at PNG University of Technology.

Educationally, I possess Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Communication Engineering (Power) at PNG
University of Technology. I also possess distinction Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Power)
at National Polytechnic Institute of PNG in Lae. Currently, I am doing Post Graduate Business Management at
Singapore School of business. I also graduated with couple of online certificates in Renewable Energy and
Reduction of Carbon emission under sponsorship of Total E&P (TEP PNG). Currently am doing online advance
diploma in Business Management via zoom with Australian Institute of Business.

Duties Perform Under Supervision Includes:

 Performs stress analysis on aircraft (metallic and composite) structures under supervision

3. Trainee - Electrical Maintenance Engineer (On The Job Training) – PNG Power Limited, Base in Yonki Hydro
Power Station (Generation – Ramu 1 Power House), Kainantu, EHP, 7th January, 2015 to 16th July, 2015.

Duties Perform Under Supervision Includes:

 Worked with the maintenance team Carry out repairs to all types of equipment in a safe, timely and
professional manner under supervision of 3 senior electrical engineers and 5 electrical trades’ men.
 Always visited specialist engineers and experienced Electrical Trades Men for help and asked more questions.
 Report breakdown root cause, equipment faults and concerns to Group Leader and Lead Tech.
 Plan / prioritize workload to support production and ensure efficient use of working time.
 Work together with in respond to maintenance requested for equipment fault, diagnose fault repair and
return equipment to operational service. All work carried out operated in a safe and efficient manner.
 Learned a lot while working with the team we moved, installation, repositioning of machines and equipment’s.

5. Student Laboratory (Both Power and Electronics LABS) – Department of Electrical Engineering, PNG

 I learned typical steps for deigning electronic devices: design circuit schematic, simulate it and breadboard
testing using different types of integrated Circuits (ICs) and power electronics devices such as BJT, Power
MOSFETS, IGBT, Capacitors and Resistors.
 Another hands-on lab experienced that I gained was on how to control motor manually using Controls circuit
and Power circuit. I am also good at reading control circuit and power circuit.
 Dismantle DC motors and Induction motors’ components apart and fixed them again for normal operation.
