UPDATE ON CBN CLADDED HPC
BLADING?

• CFSI C_211994 states 12 cladded blades per row (row


18 – 22 HPC), as presented in 2009.
• cBN cladded blades installed only on rows 17, 21 and 22
(observed during FO of FL41 & FL51)

• Why was this CFSI changed and is there more info


available?
• Wasn’t blade tip cracking and liberation most observed
on rows 19 & 20?
