 Read the labels in the reagent bottles carefully. Take


prescribed amount; do not bring the reagent bottle to
the desk; NEVER return any chemical to reagent
bottles, unless specifically directed to do so;

 Maintain purity of the chemicals by using specific


pipettes or spatula for each bottle;

 Clean off the outside of the reagent bottle of dust,


ammonium chloride, or other contaminants; rinse
neck and stopper with water and wipe dry before
removing the stopper

 Volumetric transfer pipets are designed to deliver a
