Using a 2.75 mm crochet hook and black yarn, ch
x 6, start in the second ch from the hook

the chain to form an oval, sc x 3, 2sc, sl st in first
st, ch 1

4 With black yarn, sew together the 3rd and 12th 6
stitches (this stitch will count as a loop to crochet
on in this round) and sew up the front of the boot
to close it. The joining sl st will also count as a

the row ends on the inner thigh. Change to royal
blue yarn in the last stitch. Do not sl st or fo. Put a
cotton swab through her leg to form her upper leg
and stuff (she will be able to bend her leg at the
knee). With autumn maize yarn, sew some designs
on the front of her boots.

BODY and HEAD
1 Make sure you hold both legs so that the front of the 28
legs are facing away from you. Use a 2.75 mm
crochet hook, royal blue yarn and start on the second
leg, do a chain to form her crotch, then start stitching
on the inner thigh of her first leg. Sc x 12 around the
first leg. Then 2sc in the chain that formed her
crochet. Then sc x 12 around her second leg. Then 2
sc in the chain that formed her crotch again. This is
the end of the first round.

yarn. The round starts under one arm.

next st (sc, hdc), then 2dc x 2, dc, hdc, sc x 8.
2 Change to autumn maize yarn in the last st. 23

Collar
In the front loops of round 18 and with soft green
yarn. Start in the middle of the front, sl st in first

Vest Straps
With black yarn, ch x 13. Starting in the 2nd ch, sl
st x 12, fo. With autumn maize yarn, sl st along
each side of the strap. Glue straps to the vest over
her shoulders.

SKIRT
Turn doll upside down so that the legs are up and (23)
the head is down. With a 2.75 mm hook and royal
blue yarn, start stitch in the front loops of row 5 of

With Kelly green DMC thread and sapphire yarn,
embroider the design on the skirt and vest as
shown below. With raspberry yarn, make French
knots as shown below.

HAIR
Using carrot yarn, mark the dividing line between the front and back of
the head to use as a guide and a line down the middle of the back of
her head.
Cut strands of pumpkin yarn that are double the length of her
fringe/bangs. Fold this yarn in half and use carrot yarn to back stitch to
the head along the hairline that you marked on the top of her head.
Glue the fringe/bangs to the head with a slight part on the left side.

Cut strands of pumpkin yarn that are double the length from the midline
on the back of her head to the end of her braids. Cut one strand of
Houston cream yarn of the same length. Fold these strands in half and
sew to the head along the line you marked on the back of her head. Sew
the Houston cream strand at the top of her head and pull to the right
side of her head. Glue the hair down each side of the head so that they
converge to where you want to start the braids. Trim some of the hair
so that the braid is not too thick (leave about 12 strands).

Braid the hair on each side of her head and tie off. Trim and use a pet
brush to brush out the end of her braided ponytails if desired.

FACE
Sew the holes of the black buttons in a cross stitch pattern with black
crochet thread. Cut a pair of eyelashes from the black felt. Glue the
eyelashes to the large black buttons. Glue the eyes to the head.
For her cheeks, cut two circles from the light pink felt and glue to the
head.
Sew a mouth using black thread and pull the ends of the thread inside
the head.
