Students of Faculty of Computer Science, University of Indonesia have annually held the event COMP-
FEST as a way to promote information technology in order to lead a better life. On its tenth anniversa-
ry, COMPFEST brings forth “Unveil the Future By Advancing Education of Technology in Indonesia” as
their theme. This year, the event upholds 3 main values: “Collaboration”, “Impactful”, and “Fascinating.”
The existence of this event would create a positive impact by not only improving our students’ skills,
but also raising IT literacy in everyone involved. The Faculty throws its full support behind this event,
and hopes that it will better the nation in a significant way.

WHAT IS
COMPFEST ?
On its tenth year, COMPFEST takes on the theme “Unveil the Future
By Advancing Education of Technology in Indonesia.” Indonesia
has a myriad of potential in the Information Technology industry.
Potential that--when utilized correctly, could bring us immeasurable
growth. And we believe that by moving forward together, even the
slightest contribution could have a massive impact on the
development of Indonesia’s IT industry.

COMPETITION
In the past, Competition served to only
find the winners. However, nowadays it is
also used as a learning field. COMPFEST
X aims to provide both by increasing the
standard of contest and organizing
unique learning opportunities such as
Coder Class and Hacked Class in the
hopes of helping contestants come up
with brand new ideas for Indonesia. This
year, COMPFEST X will be holding five
national-scale competitions.

to solve computational problems by
creating a program. Aside from that,
Competitive Programming Contest will

“ Playground is a one-of-a-kind IT exhibition by COMPFEST. Ever
since its inception in 2013, Playground has been a platform for
startups, developers, communities, students, and exhibitors alike to
showcase their products to the public. Playground opens up
opportunities for exhibitors to actively engage with new or existing
users through interactive challenges. Aside from that, visitors have a
chance to build their network or gain insights about the exhibitors,
often having possibilities to exchange contacts or even land internship
positions. Our unique gamification concept would also let visitors gain
points from interactions with exhibitors, and these points could later
be exchanged for various merchandise.”

2. ADVERTISING MATERIALS
a. All materials are designed and produced by the committee of COMPFEST X, with
the exception of any materials provided by the sponsors. The placement and
arrangement of the sponsors’ logos and names are within the committee’s jurisdiction.

name, etc.) should be handed over to the COMPFEST X committee by the latest 2
weeks after signing the contract.
