PSYCHIA SLE 04 - Orderliness Rationale
PSYCHIA SLE 04 - Orderliness Rationale
RATIONALE
Orderliness is “keeping things clean and neat”. An Orderly person is one who takes pride in making
sure everything is done correctly. We live in a world today that rushes to get everything done quickly no
matter what the outcome is. An orderly person looks at the details and arranges themselves to achieve
greater efficiency. By not overlooking key details, reducing clutter, and looking at all the points, one can
save time, energy, and frustration. The goal of this activity is to help the participants realize the
importance of orderliness, not just in things, but also within their selves.
OBJECTIVES
Behavioral: To make the participants learn how to be orderly in things.
Affective: To develop a sense of being organized.
Cognitive: To make the participants realize the importance of keeping things in order.
MATERIALS
Music
1. Arrange a circle of chairs numbering one less than the number of players participating in the
game.
2. Players line up outside the ring of chairs while one non-player is in charge of playing music —
recorded music is easier, but if there are any musicians in the group, have them play their
instruments.
3. When the music begins, the players move, shake, and shimmy in a circle around the chairs, but
as soon as the music stops, the players must immediately find a chair.
4. One player will not find a seat and is thus eliminated, and one chair is removed from the circle
for the next round.
5. The game continues until one player remains.

Attention! Form a line from oldest to youngest)
3. There will be a countdown and for every round without an elimination, the next command will
be less than a second faster.
4. A participant is eliminated when he/she is not in the right order.
