I am committed to the teaching profession from last ten years and serve my students with
great passion. I am serving at BITS Pilani, K.K. Birla Goa Campus since 2004. My
teaching experience is detailed below.
• Currently working as a lecturer at Birla Institute of technology & Science, Pilani at its
Goa Campus since 13.09.2004 till date.
• One and half years experience of working as a lecturer at BRCM CET, Bahal,
Haryana from 18.01.2003 to 31.07.2004.
• Six months experience of working as a lecturer at Guru Nanak Dev Engineering
College, Ludhiana. (Punjab) from 02.02.2001 to 23.07.2001 and again from
02.08.2004 to 09.09.2004.
• Worked as Course Instructor at BITS-Off Campus Center at Grasim, Nagda to teach
employees of Grasim doing B.S.(Process Engg.) degree of BITS, Pilani for semester

students 23UG/7PG ) for their thesis/dissertation work.

Development work
• Developed laboratory manual for ME F243 Production Techniques I, ME C332 Prime
Movers and Fluid Machines published by Educational Development Division (EDD),
BITS Pilani, K. K. Birla Goa Campus.
• Established internal combustion engines laboratory at BITS Pilani K. K. Birla Goa
Campus
• Developed course material in the form of lecture slides using MS-Power Point for
courses of Prime Movers and Fluid Machines, Thermodynamics, Workshop Practice
and Engineering Graphics using AutoCAD. Also developed such course material for
on-line courses delivered to professionals from TATA Power namely Prime Movers
and Fluid Machines (mainly turbo-machines), Maintenance and Safety, Plant Layout
and Design, Quality Control, Assurance and Reliability.

Administrative contributions
• Working as Nucleus Member of the Instruction Division as well as Academic
Registration and Counseling Division of BITS Pilani, K. K. Birla Goa Campus since
2005 and specifically contributing for course package design for students deviating
from normal academic plan due to various reasons such as backlog due to poor
performance or otherwise, opting for dual degree etc.
• Served as Instructor-In-Charge at BITS Pilani, K. K. Birla Goa Campus for number
of times for the courses of Prime Movers and Fluid Machines, Production Planning
and Control, and Thermodynamics.
• Appointed PS-II Faculty for closely interacting with Bosch Ltd., Goa, (Packaging
Technology Division) to liaison for BITS Pilani student’s six month industrial
training program of Practice School-II during July-December, 2011.
• Supervised the Practice School-I program (industrial training) of BITS Pilani students
at Hyderabad in CMC Ltd, Medicity Hospitals and Kamineni Hospitals.
• Arranged student visits to several leading industrial organizations in Goa namely Goa
Shipyard Ltd, Vasco-Da-Gama, Reliance Energy Power Plant, Zuari Industries Ltd,
Goa.
• Served as a member of anti-ragging squad in 2007-08.
• Served as a Proctor for BITSAT-2005 and BITSAT 2007 at BITS Pilani Goa
Campus. Also worked as Network Administrator during BITSAT-2007.

students of Goa in the year 2007 to motivate them for joining reputed institutions as
BITS (demonstrated mechanical engineering laboratories).

• Research paper titled “An Improved Graph Theoretic Model for Integrated
Manufacturing System” was selected as one of the 18 best papers out of a total of 68
papers presented in a national conference RAM-2010 at SVNIT, Surat.
• Received special invitation for commendable research work from organizing
committee of International Conference on Management, Manufacturing and Materials
Engineering at Zhengzhou, China.
• Appointed examiner for mechanical Engineering by Jharkhand Public Service

During student career
• Received award from Punjab State Council for Science and Technology for project
work on Automatic Nut Taping attachment during the year 2000.
• Received GATE scholarship during M.E. Degree at BITS, Pilani from August, 2001
to December, 2002.

OTHER SKILLS
Good proficiency in discipline related software such as AutoCAD, Pro/E, MATLAB,
COMSOL etc. as well as in MS-Office software such as MS-Word, MS-Access, MS-
Excel, and MS-Powerpoint alongwith MS-project. Working knowledge of web page
development using HTML. Proficiency in programming using C Language as well as
Fortran. Extensive experience on CNC part programming.
