I. OBJECTIVES
Garlic and ginger makes an excellent economical, non-toxic pesticide for the garden. It has
natural fungicidal and pesticidal properties that work effectively to control pests. Aphids, ants,
termites, flies, borers, caterpillars, slugs and army worms are some of the pests that can be
suitable controlled using garlic and ginger.
Garlic contains volatile oil which gives garlic it’s medicinal properties. Garlic has 33 sulphur,
sallylcysteine, vinalaithines, s- allylmercapocystein.
Coconut sap vinegar is an organic insecticide to keep ants away from the plant. It also serves
as herbicide and fungicide to prevent mildew and black spot.
III. HYPOTHESIS
A pesticide made up of garlic and ginger extract with coconut sap vinegar is not effective on
the string beans. Ginger extract with coconut sap vinegar do not help the plant from pest and
diseases while garlic extract with coconut sap vinegar do not help the plant to yield more.

B. Experiment Proper
Garlic and ginger makes an excellent economical, non-toxic pesticide for the garden. It
as natural fungicidal and pesticidal properties that work effectively to control pests. Aphids,
ants, termites, flies, borers, caterpillars, slugs and army worms are some of the pests that can be
suitable controlled using garlic and ginger.
We chose garlic and ginger extract because if it’s potential to become non-toxic pesticide
for the garden. We chose to add coconut sap vinegar in each extract to form an organic pesticides
on our investigatory project. Base on the data’s we gathered through our investigatory
experiment, the plants on the category C1, C2, C3, C4 and C5 which was sprayed by the ginger
extract have increased in height, the number of leaves also increases. The appearance of
specialized stem, flower and fruits was also seen. Other hand the plants on the category C6, C7,
C8, C9, C10 which was sprayed by garlic extract with coconut sap vinegar has almost the same
effect. They just differ in two ways, the plants with the ginger extract are more resilient to pest
than of the garlic while the plants with the ginger extract produced more yield and longer than
that of the ginger extract.
Therefore, both the ginger and the garlic extract with coconut sap vinegar is effective as
pesticides to string beans.
VII. CONCLUSION
Both the ginger and garlic extract with coconut sap vinegar is effective as pesticides to
string beans when it comes to growth and yield production.
Ginger extract helps the plant from pest and diseases because we’ve seen the resiliency of
the plants spayed by ginger extract with coconut sap vinegar to pest like aphids, ants, and
mildews.
Garlic extract helps the plants to yield more because we’ve seen the effectiveness
through there healthy leaves, healthy yields and also there resiliency ion pest like ants and
worms.
VIII. RECOMMENDATION
We highly recommend to use both the ginger and garlic extract with coconut sap
vinegar on the same plant at the same time for better result.
We also recommend to investigate more about the effects of the both garlic and
ginger extract with coconut sap vinegar as pesticides to other plants for different
preference.
We recommend that always observe the plants so that you will know on how the
pests increased and how insects affect when you applied the ginger and garlic extract
with coconut sap vinegar.
Combining ginger extract and garlic extract with coconut sap vinegar as pesticides
for better result for the plant.
Only apply either ginger or garlic extract with coconut sap vinegar pesticides when
the plant is on its vegetative stage.
