1. In the fig (1) if DBC  70 and BAC  40 , find BCD .
2. In the fig (2), O is the center of the circle of radius 5 cm. OP  AB, OQ  CD, AB CD ,
AB = 6 cm, CD = 8 cm. Determine PQ.
3. In the fig (3), ABCD is a cyclic quadrilateral. AE is drawn parallel to CD and BA is
produced. If ABC  92 , FAE  20 , find BCD .
4. In the fig (4), P is the center of the circle. Prove that XPZ  2  XZY  YXZ  .

5. Prove a parallelogram inscribed in a circle is a rectangle.
6. In fig (5), circle C(O, r) and C  Or / 2  touch internally at a point A and AB is a chord of
the circle C(O, r) intersecting C  Or / 2  at C. Prove that AC = CB.
7. In the fig (6), O is the center of the circle. Determine PRQ and reflex POQ .

8. If two sides of a cyclic quadrilateral are parallel prove that remaining two sides are equal
and both diagonals are equal.
9. Prove that the angle bisectors of the angles formed by producing opposite sides of a cyclic
quadrilateral (provided they are not parallel) intersect at right angles.
10. In the fig (7) if y  32 and z  40 determine x. If y + z = 90 prove that x = 45 .
11. In the fig (8), ABC, AEG and HEC are straight lines. Prove that AHE and EGC are
supplementary.
12. In the fig (9), O is the center and AE is the diameter of the semicircle ABCDE. If AB = BC
and AEC  50 then find CBE, CDE, AOB . Prove that BO CE .
