THE TITLE: HOW TO MEASURE THE TOTAL RESISTANCE OF RESISTORS IN SERIES ?

Figured 1 describes the way of measure the total resistance of resistor in series.
Firstly, we use a high-resistance voltmeter and a low-resistance ammeter. Secondly,
we connect R1 across AB. After that, it must be ensured that the switch is closed and
the rheostat is adjusted until both meters show almost full. Then, we can take
E
simultaneous readings of both voltage and current and use the formula R  to

calculate R1. We are also repeat this for R2. and then connect R1 and R2 in series
across AB. So, we calculate the total resistance using the same formula as before.
Finally, we take the table for result.
