The Physical Activity Guidelines recommend that you get 150 minutes of physical
activity per week, or 30 minutes, five days a week.
It might feel difficult to fit exercise into your schedule, but any activity is better
than none! Ten minutes of activity at a time is okay. Here are some ways you can
make exercise fit into your daily routine:

 Have Fun
Choose activities that you want to do and don’t pick activities that feel like a
chore. Walking, biking, jumping jacks, yoga and joining a sports team are just a
few examples.
 Be Active in Your Daily Life
You don’t have to join a gym to get your body moving. Take the stairs, garden or
dance around your house. Any movement is good as long as it makes you feel
good!
