Day

A wonderful scenery opens and showcase the life around a high school
student. Showing his nature blends along with his misery.

Voice Over:

Seb: Life plays like a look. A never ending rally of life and misery. A life filled with
challenges. Blasted with a little light of hope, crawling through this pitch black
spherical lage.

Surviving life is one of the most difficult part of being a human. We never
know what tomorrow awaits. Questions running through my mind. Too big for an
18 year old high school student but what I know is that I ought to survive.

Int: Ceremony Hall


Day

A gathering was held together with the owner of the “Call Me Manong
Transport Services Inc.”, Mr. James Doguella to celebrate the growing success of
his Multi-Billion making franchise. The place was filled with people and
paparazzis as James delivers his speech.

Mr. Dougella: The success of “Call Me Manong” as the number one public
service transport here in the Philippines—
*CLAPS INTERUPTS MR. DOUGELLA*

Mr. Dougella: And thank you for these! This heart warming welcome and the
support we get around the nation. This is the reason why we are still in service.
*CLAPS INTERUPTS MR. DOUGELLA*

Mr. Dougella: This wouldn’t also be possible without the support of my family,
Thank you! And LOE promise to bring you an excellent performance through the
years. Call me Manong and Manong na maaasahan.
*CLAPS OVERWHELMS THE VENUE*
Ext: School Canteen, Classroom
Day

School bell rings. Seb was wondering around, took he’s wallet out. The face
of disappointment and hunger tainted among his face brought by the one
twenty peso bill he had.

He went back to his class. Opened his lunch box that is ¼ filled with rice. He
bought out his two- one peso chips he bought at the store solenly he ate.

Voice Over

Seb: Normal People live ordinary but I knew from the beginning that I am not
normal. Well, In fact I don’t live normal. Normal does not define me, despite of
this, I have big dreams even though I live with minimal resources. I still try to hit
birds with one stone.

Int: Classroom
Day

A while after, a moment before seb finish his meal. He’s good friend carl sat
beside him. He was looking so tense because the results of their previous exams
was out.

Carl: What’s up bro! Nah!! Don’t tell me you’ve been eating this crad all lunch.
So tell me have you check the results already?
Seb: I stil haven’t but I’m quite nervous.

Carl: Nervous? That word does not run in your blood. You’re the top of our class
seb. You can’t fool anyone.

During the conversation. Carl later on discovered Seb’s reactions, it seems


like something is bothering Seb.
Silence tainted over sebs face.
Carl: Are you okay?
A moment after, their professor in- charge came in.

Ext: Hallway
Day

Both of the friends were walking in the hallway. People filled the way that
gave them few space to walk by the interrupted conversation continued. Still
Seb is bothered by something.

Carl: You know these past few days I am so worried on the way you act, lately
bothered. You seem off.

Seb: It just came to my mind that the reason why I’m doing all of this hard work I
do is just because I want to improve my social class. I’ve already invested a lot
of time but yet is not enough.

Carl: Hey! Wait, I know what you’re going through is tough but believe me when
I say this. What bothers you is just the result of what we’re building for the future.
But what were doing here is strengthening the foundation of our future.
Seb: *Laughs* I know, but I’m just wondering how would I be if my life today is
the opposite of what I get.
Accidentally seb bumped into someone and immediately apologizes.

Ext: Hallway
Day

A change in status and lifestyle went int turning seb into “SEB” showcasing the
difference between the two while he’s walking on his way to class.

Int: Classroom
Day

Seb slowly opening the classroom door while walking towards his chair. He is
being scolded for always being late and ignoring the teacher.
Browsing through his phone his seatmate eventually calls him.

Trix: Have yoy finished your homework?


Seb: What homework? I don’t do homework.
Trix: You’re such a pain in the ass seb! Are you not worried about passing?
Seb: I’m worried why I go to school everyday wasting all this money.

Trix: It seems like your life is still an abstract but resembles an unpainted canvas. I
believe there is no such word as plan in your vocabulary.

Seb: I don’t plan for what’s up ahead. I survive by surfing through wave when it
comes.

Voice Over:

Seb: I knew I was taking life for granted. I wasn’t scared of what might happen
tomorrow. My parents bust’s their asses to work 24/7 just to provide me this way
of lifestyle.

Int: Guidance Office


Day

Seb was brought in the guidance office after being in a fight. He still looks
furious.

Guidance Councilor: I am very disappointed by your actions. Nothing had


change. As you promise if it wasn’t for your parents influence inside the school
you’d be out for sure! What do you have to say for yourself?
Phone rings and the councilor answered the incoming call.

Ext
Day
The transition went back to Seb’s reality and now the story proceeds through
showcalling it’s success as a person who was built by difficult challenges in life.
Voice Over:

Seb: I was confused honestly, but one thing kept me on track it’s my desire &
dreams. This helped me to hold myself as a person, a warrior fit for battle.

Int: Ceremony Hall


Day

A big revelation was about to happen as Mr. Dougella was delivering his
speech.

Mr. Dougella: Folks, I always believe in the saying that my mother always tells me
“Even the longest thread has it’s own ending” and one should be ready to step
down to let someone much wiser & stronger to continue the venture. And I am
glad that I had sailed this voyage successfully and time has come to step down
to continue the legacy that we have brought.

Ladies and Gentlemen, let me introduce to you the new owner of call me
manong transport service incorporated the one and only, Mr. Sebastian
Katimpulac.

Everyone was shocked by the news but was impressed and excited to the new
journey they would take.

Seb: Change is part of life. Plans makes us prepared but goals push us through.
Don’t be feared by tomorrow because “Call Me Manong” is just on it’s way on
making history.
Call me Manong ang Bukas ng Transpo ng Pinas.
