DBMS – Oracle University Courses


Access Process

To access the Oracle University courses, perform the following steps:


1. Click this link or copy paste it in the Mozilla Firefox browser:

2. On the screen that opens, log in with IBM Intranet credentials.

3. In the form that opens, fill in your details.


These include:
• Your IOT – Select Asia Pacific
• Your Service Line – Select EA – Oracle
• Business justification – Enter ADM Inspire

4. Click Submit.
Your request will be reviewed and you will
receive an email from Oracle Corporation with
login credentials. It might take around five
working days to receive the credentials.
Once you have the credentials, follow the next
steps to access the Oracle courses on Oracle
University.

5. Access the Oracle IBM partnership website, Oracle University, using this link: Oracle University

6. On the page that opens, click Oracle Training on Demand.

7. On the page that opens, click the Register for a free Oracle Web account link.

8. On the page that opens, log in to the Oracle Education University using the credentials received from Oracle Corporation.

9. After successful sign in, you should be able to see your name displayed on the Oracle University page.
You now have access to the Oracle University courses.

10. To access the relevant courses, go to the DBMS page in the Workforce Strategy wiki .

11. On the DBMS wiki page, click the DBA or Developer icon, based on your role.

12. On the page that opens, click the Level 1 section in the Talent Framework.

13. You will be taken to the Learning path. Click it to access Lighthouse for a list of recommended courses.

14. Lighthouse displays the Learning Plan created for you. Click Save Plan at the bottom of the page.

15. You should now be able to see a list of recommended courses. Click the Start button to launch a course of your choice.

16. The course opens in the Oracle University site. The main course page is divided into days and includes additional material such as eKits
and Labs. Click Day 1 to view the topics covered under it. You can click each topic to launch it.

17. If your topic includes Labs, you can schedule hands-on time by clicking it. Check the week in which you wish to complete your hands-
on activity and then click Submit Lab Request.
You will get a mail from TOD-SUPPORT_WW@oracle.com with username and password two days before requested start date.
Note: This hands-on is available for six days at a time.
