rethinking architecture

Everything is a stardust. Lollipops, spaceships and all you see, Even the
house and its inhabitants. What better way to pay tribute to this than by
fusing the realm of the stars with architecture.
The house, without any predefined program, allows simple, elemental hu-
man existence. The scattered units emulate stars in the sky, making the
house a constellation on the surface of the earth but reaching out. A con-
tinuous open space, flowing along these units is formed. Each person per-
ceives the house differently, making it an extension of their selves.
Purity of existence is achieved through purity of architecture. By not im-
posing itself on the user, the house gives him/her an essential freedom
to become whole. Live under the stars. The human race is a mechanism
devised by the universe to try and experience itself. Look up. The sky is a

1982 the CH flyover was named after the then chief minis-

This space, despite connecting two busy streets, had people choosing to walk around it, just
to avoid it. Our vision is to transform this space to the best of our ability, and to ensure its
maintenance in the future by legally assigning custodianship to local stakeholders (in this case,
Babuettan) with formal consent from the concerned authorities.
