Andrea; Hi, how are you?
Christian; well thanks and you?
Andrea; well thank God
Andrea; tell me a little how the process of quality management will in your company's coffee
Christian; clear that if, at the time we have been working hard in the implementation and
improvement of the quality through safety standards in of greatest risk of the company,
specifically in the sowing and harvesting of the product
Andrea; interesting that I've been thinking about creating my own coffee company, I've been
needing information and connections.
Christian; has my support, keep in mind that you need to start a process of management in your
company as I have been running with the staff that you mentioned.
Andrea; and that is your management process safety? And how you are implementing it?
Christian; A Management process is a set of activities that interact with the aim of transforming
elements that come in and out for the satisfaction of customers. And I have implemented it in
several rules which must be fully complied with in the company and in the area that I told you
about.
Andrea; and why you’re implementing it in the sowing area?
Christian; because of the sowing area starts the good quality of the product in this case the coffee
to be exported to the outside, is the primordial base to leave well of the company with all the
maximum quality.
Andrea; I like the subject, besides I have read books about the theme of coffee, it is impressive the
varieties that there are.
Christian; well, one of the primary safety and well-being have three elements that are: the
necessary prevention measures so that workers do not suffer accidents, damage by poisoning,
contamination or misuse of equipment; the training of first aid workers, safe handling of
machinery and equipment and at risk in
handling of hazardous substances and compliance of social security, trade union and conditions of
workplaces and minimum services. When considering this, it can be seen that BPAs are strongly
associated with a mechanism that tends to minimize pollution processes, either natural resources,
of the product itself (pollution
microbiological, physical or chemical), or, of the workers who work in agricultural work.
Therefore, if BPA means doing things right, it’s say without externalities, the production system
that incorporate will tend to correct negative externalities
associated with conventional agricultural production. In this sense, the BPAs in fact constitute a
mechanism of internalization of externalities.
Andrea; if you don’t put it into practice the others won’t.
Christian; of course if, if you want to accompany me in this welcome process, it is more help you
to run your project of creating your own company.

 GLOSSARY OF TERMS

Safety: daily it can refer to the absence of risk or to the confidence in something or in someone.
However, the term can take different senses depending on the area or field to which it refers in
security. In general terms, security is defined as "the welfare state that human beings perceive and
enjoy".

Management: It is the social science that aims to study organizations and the technique in charge
of planning, organization, management and control of resources (human, financial, material,
technological, knowledge, etc.) of an organization, with the in order to obtain the maximum
possible benefit; This benefit can be social, economic, depending on the aims pursued by the
organization.

Harvesting: Act of catching the fruits or products of the field, after their cultivation.
