Game Design Idea and Research

“Mysterious cave” is a room escape puzzle and adventure game that presented in the form of VR.

Humans have been exploring the existence of aliens for thousands of years. As well as what
aliens and their civilizations are, there has always been speculation, imagination, research and
exploration. Some people attribute the products of civilization, or UFOs, that are difficult to
explain scientifically on Earth to aliens and their influence. But nowadays humans can't actually
detect whether there are aliens or even alien life.

There are many records about strange humans in the history books of various countries. Modern
people think that this is a record of suspected aliens. For example, some people think that the
Song Dynasty Su Dongpo's "You Jinshan Temple" "Jiang Xin seems to have a torch fire, flying
flames like mountains and birds are shocked. Suddenly lying in the heart, what is the non-ghost
non-human?" is describing UFO; Qing Dynasty "Zi Bu There are also descriptions of aliens and
UFOs in the language.

This game is about the imagination of aliens and their lifestyle.

My imagination is that aliens use hieroglyphs just as humans invented words.

Game design – Mysterious cave use VR makes players feel immersed. Puzzles and horror
limit the player's imagination.

Visuals – Z-lien symbols and marks become the focus of understanding the mystery.
Present the environment in a first-person perspective.

Multiplayer - The ideal way to play in the mysterious cave is that many people solve
puzzles together.

Entering the game, it was black and player was trapped by the cage. There is a helmet on the
ground that has light, player can grab the light and look around, there is a pen and 2 paper balls
on the ground, a player can see what the inside of the paper. There are two notes.

July 27, 2020
It’s too scary, it’s incredible! I don't know if I can still live! Just now, Alex, who was with me in
the mine, was taken away by unknown objects in the mine! The next one may be me! I don't
know where to hide, but you can’t go behind the min. The hole door has been locked by me, and
the simplest password is probably the safest.

The mine temperature is up to 6 degrees and the lowest is 1 degree.
Three days have passed since the accident occurred in the newly opened mine! I finally opened
the door before I was exhausted. I didn't expect it to be voice-activated. It was related to the weird
symbols I saw in the mine, but it seemed scarier after opening the door. Listen, is there a strange
breathing sound? Don't come near me!!

Scene 2: Mine hole (knowing the language of alien)

Going out from the password lock is a mine hole

Scene 3: Transfer cabinet (how does the alien’s looks like?)

Third note：
The temperature of the mine has not been felt.
I was caught here just like Alex! Grab our creatures and claim to be Zlien, they are really creepy!
Both hands and feet have eight fingers, all of which are disgusting blue mucus, which can crawl
freely on the wall! But they seem to be adding a lot of water every day, and the water in my hand
is taken away by them! Although I can't believe it so far, the truth is that I met an alien! If
someone sees this text, rush to escape, because the more terrible is behind!

Scene 4: Plant greenhouse (why z-lien went to earth?)

August 2020
Human beings have been turned into fertilizer by the Z-lien? This green house is not the plant of
the earth, but the plant of the Z-Star, and they are all exchanged for human suffering! What is the
Star of the Z-lien coming to the earth? Before the poor little grandson was drained, he left me a
clue to leave the room. He said that only by finding the answer to the question on the blackboard,
he could escape. I really don't know if I can solve it. . .

Scene 5: Alien base / UFO (alien’s purpose coming to Earth)

After solving the problem, player was entering a room that is alien base. By entering that room,
the lighting effect was on, blue light from both sides to the middle. The symbol of the Z lights up.
This is a mysterious instrument full of unknowns. It turned out to be an Z-lien spacecraft.

This should be the Z-Star spaceship. Will Alex be kept inside? However, entering the spacecraft
is not so simple, it seems that you have to verify the photo at the door.
