A Narrative Report

Day 1 – Departure For Manila Sunday September 23, 2018

It was 10 am in the morning that we go in VTC to have a tricycle to go in San Andres Port and it
almost 20 minutes I guess to get in San Andres Port, after that its already 12 pm we enter in the
boat, almost 1:00 pm the boat goes to tabaco, in the middle of the ocean the seaman told that
the engine was wreck, that is two engine so only one engine is working, the boat is very slow so
we took almost 4 hours riding in the boat from San Andres port to tabaco port and its really
stressing. Almost 5:30 that the boat is in Tabaco now, and Maam Vera check our attendance to
check that we are complete, we go to the bus to go now Manila to our educational Tour after
we enter the bus Sir Darren gave our freebies the bag and the hoodie jacket and the food is
already given we eat first after we eat we pray for our safeness. During the ride my classmates
sing because there is a videoke inside the bus. I guess there probably tired in singing so the
stop the videoke and watch movie. It was a very long ride we have 4 stop over to buy a food
having tour is always you can feel hungriness so every stop over I buy a food I always craving in
the food and that’s really amazing, so the last stop over we do is in Binan Laguna, we do wash
our face to have fresh look because after we eat in the Madison 101. Madison 101 is the hotel in
the New Manila Quezon City that is the hotel we will used to check in 3 nights of staying in
Metro Manila.

So now we enter the NAIA Expressway to go in the Madison 101 in QC almost 1 hour I guess
before we go in the Hotel to have our breakfast, almost 1 hour because of the traffic, we do
quick breakfast in Madison 101. The meal was good but It’s not satisfy in the stomach because
limited serving only, I want to eat a lot during that time because my stomach is very hungry
cause to eat a lot but its not worth it eat the food there sad but it’s okay now atleast we eat.
Having day one experience is nice and tiring and a little bit excitement because it’s been a long
time that I cannot go in Manila, so I was excited in that moment I love riding in the bus probably
I saw a lot of building it is very nice off course we haven’t see that in our island because it is
province, so lot of adjustment I was like someday I will work in that building after I graduated so
day 1 is we have travelled a lot almost 8 hours 4 stop over’s to buy food and take a CR.
INTRODUCTION
As a part of the curriculum, the 3rd year Information Technology and 4th year Information
System students are expected to initiate an Educational Tour on a specified Destination and be
out for school for almost a week, We the third year IT students and few IS students were out of
the town and been in Manila for 4 days and a day in Laguna.

It’s a part of our subject in 3rd year it’s a choice between you will attend a seminar or your just go
in the tour, I’d rather choose to join in the tour cause for once this once in a lifetime experience.
Educational Tour gives us ideas likewise opportunities to visit prestigious agencies that may
help us visualize what we are learning at school. This activity help us develop our personality
since social graces and etiquette and learned too by experience. Moreover, important to every
student since it is a part of our learning process to acquire more knowledge through actual
exposure to the different companies.

September 23, 2018 we headed our first trip in tricycle from Virac to San Andres by riding a
tricycle it cost 30 pesos, its already 11 that we came in to San Andres Port while waiting to enter
the boat we eat first at the canteen near the port, the food taste so nice after we eat we go now
to our classmate later on the seaman tells that you can now enter the boat, so we pack our
things to go now at the boat, after we enter the boat we go t the second deck on the boat
because that is good spot for us, it’s already 1:15 the boat is now going to Tabaco. After we got
in Tabaco the bus is waiting outside the port and we enter now we eat first and pray for the safe
ride. Almost 8 hours we travelled from Virac to Manila.

September 24, 2018 so the bus stop in the Mall to have our wash up because after we go to
Madison Hotel we will arrived at PAG ASA (The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and
Astronomical Services Administration) for the inspection or visit in there company, its nice they
share how they can detect if there is a typhoon coming and the different types of typhoon route.
After that we enter a bus again to have our pack lunch, because we will arrived at Department
of Information And Communications Technology to visit there company they discuss how the
internet in this country is very slow and we enter in there small museum we saw there the
different kinds of pc’s and etc. After that we enter in the bus again to go in Madison Hotel for our
rest. We check in Room 313 with my fellow classmates Axel Jay Tapel, Nedd Rumbines, Aldwin
Ladao, Kjeld Caballero and Kenneth Encarnacion.
September 25, 2018 - I wake up already 5:12 AM to took a shower and go downstairs to have
our breakfast it took almost 15 minutes and I change my clothes because we will attend the
most prestigious Youth Congress for Information Technology 2018. After we attend in the Y4IT
in UP Diliman the next destination we go is Side trip in SM North or Trinoma I buy a 2 piece of
clothes after that we will arrived at the Hotel to have rest.

September 26, 2018 - At 6pm we eat our breakfast at Madison Hotel 101 after that we visit
Microgenesis Business Systems. Located at Pasay to have there company tour and a brief
introduction how they projects in metro manila is highly paid and for their stack room to show
their system unit and etc. So after we have a company visit we enter a bus again to have lunch
after that we arrived at tagaytay in Our Lady of Manaog Shrine to a short prayer after that we
proceed in Tagaytay Palace in the sky it’s a kind of place that you can relax with all your stress.
After tagaytay we proceed in Laguna to check in the Queen Auroras Resort to rest and relax for
a tiring day.

September 27, 2018 - 6:30 AM We eat breakfast at the resort. Later on we packed our clothes
because later at 7pm we will arrives at bicol. 7:30 AM we arrived at Science Park of the
Pilippines and 9:00 PM We visit the Fastech Synergy we conduct a inspection in their company
I see how the work its chips and how they care about it and it’s a lot of process. 11:30 we eat
our lunch in the bus the lunc was good because it’s a sisig my favorite after we eat we proceed
at Gleent INC at Cabuyao Laguna and tech us how to motivate our self to be succesfull in our
life. After Gleent we arrived at SM San Pablo to have a side trip and we eat in Cowking first and
we arrived at Bicol.

September 28, 2018 - 5:00 am we arrived at Naga to have a breakfast in Mcdo. After eating we
attend a mass in Basilica after that we go in Tabaco to get in the port. Almost 3 hours of riding 9
we get in Tabaco and 10 we go inside the boat to Catanduanes and 3:00 pm the boat is in San
Andres now it’s 3:30 I’m in the house its a very tiring day tired great experience that I never had.
 OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY

● Technology means alludes to the practical application of the scientific knowledge for various
purpose, while science is a methodical way of gaining knowledge on a particular subject through
observations and experiment.

● The current trend in the world of technology are :

* Deep learning (DL). Machine and more specifically DL are already on the cusp of revolution.
They are widely adopted in datacenters (Amazon making graphical processing units [GPUs]
available for DL, Google running DL on tensor processing units [TPUs], Microsoft using field
programmable gate arrays [FPGAs], etc.), and DL is being explored at the edge of the network
to reduce the amount of data propagated back to datacenters. Applications such as image,
video, and audio recognition are already being deployed for a variety of verticals.

● Digital Currencies. Bitcoin, Ethereum, and new Comers Litecoin, Dash, and Ripple have
become commonly traded currencies. They will continue to become a more widely adopted
means of trading. This will trigger improved cyber security because the stakes will be ever
higher as their value rise. In additional, digital currencies will continue to enable and be enabled
by other technologies.

● Blockchain. The use of bitcoin and the retavilization of peer to peer computing have been
essential for the adoption of blockchain technology in a broader sense.

● Industrial IoT. Empowered by DL at the edge, industrial Iot continuous to the most widely
adopted use case edge computing. It is driven by real needs and requirements. We anticipated
to continue to be adopted with a broader set of technical offerings enabled by DL, as well as
other uses of ioT (C and E).

● Robotics. Even though robotics research has been performed for many decades, robotics
adoption has not flourished
