ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT PLAN

1. The solid waste management scheme as provided in the Environmental Management Plan shall
be implemented immediately throughout the project implementation;
2. Conduct gauging and/ or product sales volume accounting prior to receiving to avoid overflow
from tanks;
3. Install automatic cut- off system (breakaway hose), automatic shut- off system (shear valve),
nozzle, automatic overfill shut-off system to avoid product spills;
4. Implementation of a pump-tanks replacement procedures that will consider containment isolation
and recovery of any leak or spill;
5. Implement industry’s standard on underground piping for service station to avoid soil and ground
water contamination product leaks from pipeline;
6. Water use in cleaning the floor areas of the gasoline station shall pass through an oil/water
separator before draining to the septic tank;
7. The proponent shall immediately plant appropriate tree species within the project area. In case no
available in the area in the project site, the proponent shall designate a planting area duly
approved by the DENR and EMB.
