AITE believes that discipline is a form of guidance. Every student must respect to the key
officers, its personnel and faculty members of the College. He/she should also take into consideration
the welfare of his/her fellow students.
For a school system to function properly, the conduct of the students must conform to
conditions that are conducive to learning. A student who is accepted in this institution is expected to
understand the contents of the Code of Discipline stated in this handbook.
All matters pertaining to discipline is under the jurisdiction of the VP for Academics.
1. SCHOOL UNIFORM
All AITE students are required to wear the prescribed school uniforms during class days:
MALE: - Light yellow Polo with AITE Logo and gray pants
WASH DAY-WEDNESDAY
*NOTE: Students who will come to AITE not wearing prescribed uniforms “before or after” the Wash Day
will not be allowed to enter the school.
The following behavior or omission are considered not suited to the principles that the College
adheres to. Thus, violators of certain rules maybe subject to the following disciplinary actions:
2. WEARING OF ID
ID must be worn at all times inside the campus In case of lost ID, students are required to
immediately get a replacement ID. No temporary passes are issued. The following are considered
violation in wearing of ID:
1. Failure to wear his/her ID exclusively for himself/herself (which includes the Accomplice);
2. The use of expired IDs;
3. Tampering, changing pictures and falsifying signature on ID card;
4. Failure to present his/her ID to the proper college authorities when requested;
5. Failure to wear ID while inside the school premises;
*NOTE: No permanent IDs are issued for security. It is a college policy that the student ID must be
changed every year, or every semester, as the case maybe, for security purposes.
1st offense- warning to suspension and replacement of damage school facilities/ properties; and/ or
payment of medication of injured person.
2nd offense- suspension to expulsion and replacement of damaged school facilities/ properties; and/ or
payment of medication of injured person.
23. Hooliganism/Bullying
1st offense- verbal warning
2nd offense- suspension
3rd offense- expulsion
24. Creating noise or other distractions that would disrupt/ interrupt ongoing
classes.
1st offense- verbal warning
2nd offense- suspension
3rd offense- non-readmission
26. Giving money or gifts of any kind to any faculty member to obtain a special
favor
(e.g exemption from classes,, examinations etc.)
27. Attempting to bribe the Dean, Registrar, faculty member or any other school
personnel
28. Quarrelling, engaging in first fight with fellow students, physical assault;
or threats committed against any school personnel, faculty, staff and fellow students on or off
the campus.
36. Stealing
1st offense- warning
2nd offense- suspension of 1 day
3rd offense- suspension of 1 week
4th offense- expulsion
37. Cheating
or any form of dishonesty such as plagiarism, taking whispering, making unnecessary noise,
calling the attention of others, looking at the papers of others, raising one’s paper or any other
suspicious behavior or any combination of these during a quiz or exams.
40. Any serious violations of the law within or outside the campus.
1st offense- warning to suspension
2nd offense- suspension to expulsion
3rd offense- expulsion
43. Bringing roller blades, skateboards, etc. inside the school premises.
1st offense- warning
2nd offense- suspension and confiscation
3rd offense- suspension to non- readmission
44. Having a romantic relationship with a Faculty/ Trainer and vice versa.
1st offense- verbal reprimand
2nd offense- suspension
3rd offense- expulsion
DEFINITION OF DISCIPLINARY ACTION
a. Warning
- a student who commits an offense for the first time is made to realize the distressing effect of
his/her conduct. When warned, he/she is on probation for a specified period of time.
b. Reproof
- a student is reprimanded by a person in authority. A student is under strict probation and any
wrong doing done by the student when under probation may lead to suspension or even expulsion.
c. Suspension
- is a penalty in which the school is allowed to deny an erring student of attendance in classes
for a period not exceeding 205 of the prescribed class days for the school year/term.
d. Non-readmission
- a student who is considered undesirable maybe refused in the admission for the next school
year.
e. Exclusion
- is a penalty in which the school is allowed to exclude or drop the name of the erring student
from the school rolls for being undesirable and transfer credentials immediately issued.
f. Expulsion
- is an extreme penalty on an erring student consisting of his/her exclusion from admission to
any public or private school in the Philippines. *Based on Section 77 of the Manual Regulations for
Private Schools.
