II. During – Big Group Activity ( 25 minutes)
Discussion: Discussion guide will be taken from the module 3 Earth and Life
Science 75-77.
Processed Questions:
1. What are the various hazards that may happen in the event of earthquakes,
volcanic eruptions, and landslides?
2. What are the human activities that speed up or trigger landslides?
How to cope with geological hazards caused by earthquakes, volcanic eruptions,
and landslides?
III. After Activity (5 minutes)
D. Summary: ( 3 minutes)
Earthquakes can be generated by a bomb blasts, volcanic eruptions, and most
commonly, slippage along faults and subduction zones. Majority of earthquakes
occur in plate boundaries because most movement and disturbances occur
within plate boundaries
E. Closing Routines (2 minutes)
Closing Prayer for the last subject in the morning and afternoon (Glory be….
Virgin of the Poor – pray for us…. Venerable Aloysius Schwartz – pray for us).

II. During – Big Group Activity (40 minutes)
Note: The discussion will be a continuation from yesterday’s discussion.
Discussion guide will be taken from the module 3 Earth and Life Science 75-77.
III. After/Post (5 minutes)
D. Summary: (3 minutes)
Geologic hazards are hazards caused by the movement of plates and volcanism.
Examples are earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. Earthquake is the intense
ground shaking or movement cause by the sudden release of energy.
E. Closing Routines (2 minutes)
1. Reminders: Tell the students that there will be an activity tomorrow.
2. Closing Prayer for the last subject in the morning and afternoon (Glory be….
Virgin of the Poor – pray for us…. Venerable Aloysius Schwartz – pray for us).
