What I need to know


The learners may start the learning process by:
A) Reading about facts and trivia about Earth references once such as
magazines etc, and attached references
B) studying the provided text and taking note of some of the details and
terminologies regarding Earth.
A. Introduction
What is new
As an initial activity, the learners should familiarize the given important
terminologies that will be used in the context and then fine it in Learning
Task 1 entitled, “Word Vocabulary”

What I know
The learners briefly answered open-ended questions, “If you are given a
chance to travel in space which planet would you like to go to? Why?” in three
to five sentences in Learning Task 2.

What is in
The learners will determine Earth's different characteristics (locations,
atmosphere, magnetic field and presence of water) among the planets in Solar
System using the table in Learning Task 3 entitled “What’s with you,
Earth?”

Instruction: Put a checkmark on the characteristics that the Earth and other
planets have. Determine whether these characters make life possible.

What is it
By doing Learning Task 4, the learners will choose one unique
characteristic of Earth they thought is it important (where all of the unique
characteristics of the earth are significant) when it’s destroyed by illustrating.

C. Engagement What I can do


In Learning Task 5, The learners will explore their deep thoughts about the
current situation and issues such as calamity, pandemic, war, and poverty
happening in Earth, whereby it is the only planet to sustain life. Do it by making
a slogan.
For example, “Stop Pandemic, don’t wait Mother Earth panic”
The learners will answer again an open-ended question, “How will you take
