ACTIVITY 1

I. Introduction.

The researchers gathered forty (40) respondents to answer four (4) quantitative questions.
Each question have multiple choices from letter A to E. the respondents were given enough time
to answer all of the questions given by the researchers. The respondents were all students of
Bulacan State University.

II. Data.

A total of forty 40 respondents answered the survey. Out of those forty (40), 35%
of the respondents were male students while 65% of the respondents were female
students.

The researchers gathered different ranges of age distribution among the


respondents. Out of the 40 respondents, gathering the highest age percentage of 60 %
were from ages 17 – 19. The age range 20 – 22 and 13 – 16 both got the same 20%
percentage in the age distribution.

The figure 3 shows the distribution of the different course of the students. The
highest course of the respondents were from BS Engineering and Laboratory High
School both having a 20% out of the 40 respondents. While the lowest percentage of
the course is 2.5% from BS Criminology, BS Psychology, and BS Nursing.
SURVEY ANALYSIS

1. “Nakakalabag sa karapatang pangtao ang hindi pagpasa sa same-sex marriage.”

As shown in the figure above, 30% and 10% of the respondents disagree and strongly
disagree, in respective order, that same-sex marriage is a right or “karapatang pangtao”. 27.5%
of the respondents answered neutral, showing that a great amount of percentage does not have a
strong opinion in the said issue. 15% and 17.5% of the respondents agreed that legalizing same-
sex marriage is a human right.

2. “Magiging lubos na maunlad ang Pilipinas kapag ito ay nasakop ng Tsina.”

Based on the results of the survey, 52.5% of the respondents strongly disagree that the
Philippines will develop if the Chinese government invade our country, while 32.5% of the
respondents also disagree. 7.5% out of 40 remained neutral to the issue. While 5% and 2.5% of
the respondents agreed that the Philippines will indeed develop if it is a part of China. All in all,
majority of the respondents does not believe that the Philippines will develop under the Chinese
government.

3. “Makakatulong ang ‘No Homework Policy’ sa pagbabalanse ng oras ng isang


estudyante at matututong magkaroon ng time management.”

According to the result, a huge percentage, 52.5%, of the respondents does not agree that
implementing ‘no homework policy’ will help the students balance and manage their time, while
the other 17.5% strongly disagree with this issue. 10% of the respondents is neutral to this topic
while a small percentage of the respondents, 5% and 15%, agreed that the implementation of the
said policy will help the students in managing and balancing their time.
4. “Higit na magdudulot ng masamang epekto sa mga bata kapag binaba ang criminal
liability.”

As shown in the figure above, 42.5% of the respondents is neutral about the topic, it
shows that a huge percent of the respondents does not have a strong idea about the issue at hand.
25% of the respondents agreed that lowering the criminal liability would only cause negative
effects on the child while 17.5% of the respondents disagreed. The remaining two (2) 7.5% were
evenly distributed to the answers strongly agree and strongly disagree.
