And the lord caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam. And he slept.

And God took one of

his ribs and closed up the fleshed thereof. Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man
made He a woman and he brought her unto the man. And Adam said: This is now bone of my
bone and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called woman because she was taken out of man.
Therefore shall a man leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife and they two shall
become one flesh.

In this juncture Brother Menardo Hilario and Sister Renalyn Demana now come before
family, friends, the church and above all before God to affirm their decisions to take each other
in marriage. Ladies and Gentlemen, the Processional!

THE ENTOURAGE

CANDLELIGHTERS: Leading the way are the light bearer, the two lighted candles represent the
separate lives of Edwin and Juliet. The flame is the symbol of Christ who is the light of the world
with whom we obtain abiding light, warmth, wisdom and love.

THE MINISTER OF GOD & THE BIBLE BEARER: The minister of God is ordained today to perform
this sacred union between two Christian lovers, Menardo and Renalyn. The Bible as the
ultimate guide for Christian living.

THE GROOM WITH HIS PARENTS: The Groom Brother Menardo Hilario is escorted by his parents
as a symbol of their consent to Edwin for marriage.

PRINCIPAL SPONSORS: The Principal Sponsors serve as their prayer partners, spiritual marriage
advisers and as witnesses to their solemn vows.

VEIL AND CORD SPONSORS: On their way are the Veil and Cord Sponsors. It takes a veil and a
cord to unite two separate lives in this blessed union of Menardo and Renalyn.

COIN BEARER & RING BEARER: Down the aisle are the young boys bringing the holy arrays and
the rings of promise.

BEST MAN AND MAID OF HONOR: Following the path is the handsome young man and the
lovely lady who will stand by the sides of Menardo and Renalyn in this life long journey of
marraige.

GROOMSMEN & BRIDESMAID: These are their prayer partners and witnesses.

FLOWERGIRLS: Coming so close are the blushing beautiful young girls scattering sweet and
fragrant petals of flowers symbolizing happiness and love.
BRIDES PARENTS: On the aisle are parents of the bride symbolizing their consent to Renalyn to
enter into the holy sacrament of marriage.

LITTLE GROOM AND LITTLE BRIDE: Along the aisle is the Little Bride, which symbolizes virtue
and purity.

BRIDE: And now, ladies and gentlemen, let us all rise to give honor and respect to the entrance
of the bride!

At this moment Edwin and Juliet are now ready to be united in this holy sacrament of
marriage. This ceremony will be solemnized by our host pastor of UPC Ampayon and the Caraga
District presbyter of United Pentecostal Church Rev. Ricardo V. Casimiro.

1. Slicing of cake and drinking of wine- the cake is there to remind us of the sweetness of
