WHY I CHOOSE TEACHING?

There are many courses that I can choose but teaching is I like best. What does
teaching have that other courses don’t? How can we appreciate education in our life?
These questions are questions that are very crucial for us as student.

First why did I choose teaching? When I was in grade six this profession was
already in my mind, that’s why when the opportunity came I grab it and I pursued said
course for my future and to my loves even though I came to a broken family I don’t mind
my situation or status in life instead I focused on the positive side not in negative side of
my life . Because teaching is an important weapon for the future of an individual, it is a
noble profession, a teacher can be a doctor, a policeman, a carpenter, a farmer and so
on, there will be no doctors, policemen, engineers, nurses, and so on, if there is no
teacher who guide them and makes them what they are now . Teaching is not an easy
profession, yes it’s true! Because you are going to sacrifice everything even your life
for the seek of your student, your family, the people within your community, and all the
people around you. I can see the on the face of some of my teachers that even if they
are very tired because of their busy schedule they can still manage their family and that’s
what I really like. I really admired them and motivated me to study well in embracing
teaching profession.

One thing I realized in my three years of studying in this university of taking this
course is really enjoyable, stressful but still happy because the best gift that student can
give to her /his teacher is when they learned something from you in different aspects of
life .We will be able to be a better teacher someday if we are determined to reach our
goal. And that’s what I am experiencing right now being deployed as a student teacher at
elementary school level, I am really overwhelmed to see the smiles of the children
welcoming you with all their heart and soul, they hug me in every time we meet, and
they are very sweet and I really enjoy seeing them happy even though we have just meet
this time.

To sum it up I can say that this is the right profession I have chosen.
