Was at chaat darbar at fc road ,I went there and asked him from where I will get the coupons ,so he
directed me to the counter.by his accent I thought may b he is from northen side of India , so I asked
him the same . then he told me that he is from Allahabad which is near my hometown . then I was
intrigued to ask him that why is he inn pune . to which he replied that he is doing law from sinhgad
law college. I told him that I have many friends there . so he asked me what am I doing in pune . so I
informed him the same . then he finished his food and he went
(in the start was hesitating a bit but later was a bit comfortable while talking )

I went to his shop to buy some household stuff as recently I shifted my flat . as I took the stuff I
realised that his face resembled to one of the other grocer near my old flat .so I asked him does he
know that person. So he told me that its his shop only and he is his brother who sit there. So he told
me that he saw me at that shop as before he use to sit at that store only . so as there where some stuff
which I was not getting in any shop so I asked him if he can help me and get those stuff , so he told
me that till take 3 4 days but will surely get them so I gave him the list and my phone number to
inform me and went back

He was the owner of the house which I went to see to rent , as I entered so stared showing each and
every thing of that flat from room to table to kitchen , balcony and everything with minute details
.then he made me sit and started telling about the family and y he wanted to rent the flat .he told that
he retired from a higher post from SBI bank and his wife was also in some bank. He told that his both
chid got married recently and there was huge expence of around 20 to 25 lakh on wedding and also
had some loan , so he wanted to rent the apartment to pay the monthly instalments , so I told him that
the amount he want in from of deposite was very high and v will not be able to effort that so he told
that pay years rent at once and then will not b any need to pay deposite ,and he added that he has some
problem going on in her daughter’s house and his son have a house in baner so will not b able to
manage everything that why he is renting the house. Asked him will get back to u once I talk to my
friends and then lift .
(was shocked that why is he sharing all these details with me that to , that to even when I am meeting
him for the 1st time )

That was a Monday morning I went for my jogging where I saw a small boy playing very good cricket
with the boys of big age , he was doing net practice . so could not stop and asked him that I can bowl
a few balls to him so he said yes . so I bowled a fastest ball to my ability and he played a very steady
defending shot to it and to other balls he played very good cricketing shop , after that I went to him as
asked from where he learned such shorts , to which he said he did coching in Mumbai and before that
he was tranning with his dad and he was a ranji player and asked me what u play to which I told him
that I play basket ball and then he packed up stuff and went .
(I thought that there are people who work so hard and to get in sports and due to politics in sports )

An old man was trying to step on to an escalators at sgs mall as he was carrying to many bags so I just
went to him as asked if he needs help, and I took his bags and supported him to step on the escalator
as v reached the floor he asked me where u r from as u not from pune I think so I told him that I am
from Kanpur and asked him how he got to know , to which he replied that u speak very clear hindi
and hindi spoke by pune people is not that great , to which he added felt good listening to proper hindi
then he thanked me to help him and then I went to do my work

Went to meet my friend who was having dinner there where I was introduced to one of his friends so
I asked her where is she from, to which she replied that she is from Bhopal. And she asked me the
same , then she asked me about how many years you are in pune so I told her its been 5 years my I did
my graduation (bca) from here only. To which she asked that can I help her making her college
project which was on hostel management system as he was doing BCA 3rd year . so I said ok will help
you with that , so they were ordering something to eat to which I asked that didn’t you guys had lunch
In college today . so she replied that we were busy with some ppt so could not manage time for the
same . so then they had dinner and I went to my home

Age -around 70 date- 17-8-2018
I went to a old man who was sitting on a bench at footpath, so I went to him to ask which is the best
lane among all the lane , to which he said tht for what purpose you want , like eating , roaming . I said
for eating purpose ,so he said I don’t eat outside food I just eat at home so I cant tell u about it . to
which I just asked him that have u head of any place which is good . to which he got angry and said I
told u that I don’t know about any such place and went off then I went to him said sorry left
(I was in a thought why he got angry all of a sudden while he was talking very properly in starting
Shouting . which left me which a thought that have I done something wrong)

I was so happy I was going to meet my childhood friend after 3 4 years And just about to sleep .then a
tall and fair guy came and asked me "is this seat number 26" ? I said yes , So he sat next to me .
During after a few mins as he was doing something with his bag I saw his navy uniform . So just
asked him so he was a captain, during our conversation he told me about his experience when he was
away from his family and more over away from his chil on ship for 6 months . He told me his about
the problem happened when he was under training as he slept 3 4 for days without eating food
properly as time given was very less so on . Then after few mins I slept and when in morning I woke
up he was off board

I was sitting on a brown colour couch and a person next to me was scrolling his news feed of
Facebook and then I was feeling bored as I was waiting for friend .
I asked if he was waiting for someone so he said no . So I asked if he would like to have a drink , so
he gave me a weird look . Then in further conversation v started discussing work life problem as he
was a businessman and was struggling in the market .He told me he was facing problem with fund
raising. As one of my friend was in same pipes production business so I told him I'll ask him if he can
help u with something .during this he even asked me for drink

(As he was not ok me asking for drink in very starting but as we interacted he himself asked me for
drink . So just got to know that things build up slowly )

I'd gone for dinner with my friends. It was filled and hence they went to park the car and I went in the
hotel to book a table. I went to the manager and told him to reserve a table on my name for us. Since
he was very tired, he started talking to me as if he wanted to speak openly to someone since a long
time. He told me that he had a hectic day and was feeling lost even while doing his work. I thought of
calming him and I just told him that he was doing his best because he was responsible for reducing
chaos in the hotel. Feeling relieved for a minute, he thanked me and immediately gave me a table as
per my reservation.
(Why was he talking to me if he was tired with his work)

I was at FC road and went to have some drinks. I saw this shop named Flavours and my friends had
told me that it was nice place to have drinks and is famous for its jamun shots
There I met a girl and she was sitting alone and I did not have any table vacant to sit. So I approached
her and asked her that whether I could sit there. She smiled and said yes. I asked her name. Her name
is Ankita. I asked about what she had ordered. She ordered for the jamun shots. She told me that she
frequently visits there to have the shots. I asked her from where she belongs. She told me she is from
Kanpur. I was happy to know that and told her that even I am from Kanpur. She is currently studying
at MIT WPU. I told her about myself that I am a student of PGDM at IMDR. I also asked since when
she has been in Pune. She told me she has been living for three years now. I asked about her Pune's
experience and she said she is very fond of Pune and loves this city. I asked the reason for this. She
said
because of the pleasant weather.

I had done with my lectures then I was walking out from gate then near ground there is some
arrangement for sitting and at every evening many senior citizen came to sit there. One aged person
was sitting there I went towards him and sit beside him, then I started conversion asking him question
that are you coming daily, he smiled and answered. Then he asked me about my education and one
thing he said me that you have to work hard in your initial stage of life. He is retired bank clerk and he
is coming daily here to walk to stay healthy.

Name – Satish kale location- swargate

Age- 45 date – 30-8-2018

I wanted to come at Fergusson hostel from Swargate. I booked Ola Auto because it is cheaper than
ordinary auto. Auto takes 15min. to pickup me from my location that’s why I was getting angry on
him, but he told me that because of traffic I couldn’t reach in time. Then I realised that this might be
genuine reason. On the way to Fergusson College I couldn’t talk with him for 10 min. but after some
time because of my talkative nature I started conversation with him. I asked him did you earn any
profit from Ola Auto? He responds “No” there is no extra profit if destination is less, profit is depends
on destination, if destination is high then it is profitable. Ola takes only Rs.29 for 4 km and it is not
profitable for us. Between the conversations I realise that Auto driver’s drives whole day but they
couldn’t earn more money so that life get easier. Ola takes 20% share from drivers on his every trip
and earns lot of money. We cannot blame on every Auto driver that every Auto driver takes more
money from customer

I was having lunch in the mess & besides me there was a guy so I asked him to pass on the jar of
water. On listening to my tone he immediately recognized that I'm a punjabi. He asked me where was
I from, so I told him I'm from Kanpur. To my surprise he was from Kanpur too. So I asked him what
does he do he said that he is pursuing his masters in computer application and also doing a part time
job in some company. He worked at several companies before that but none of them was for too long.
He asked me about my career and so on.

Name – sujit location- fc boys hostel

Age- 24 date – 5-9-2018

On Sunday noon I just went outside I saw one person came in my friend’s room, He is talking with
my friend, and I also join them. I came to know that he is Alumnae of IMDR in 2000 batch. He said
that he lived same room where my friend is living now. They just came for visit the hostel. He is
doing service in SBI as manger. He shared his memorable things in hostel as well as in IMDR. He is
talking with us in English, his fluency was superb, I love his fluency of talking. At that time I also
decide that in some days I should also talk with this fluency. After they went one thought came in my
mind if all IMDR Alumnae are getting successful in their life then why I should not? From that day
full confidence and positive attitude came in my body.
