CBA GENERAL ASSEMBLY

August 28, 2019

Last September 13, leaders and representatives of different organizations from different
departments including the officers of the CBA Cultural Society assembled and were gathered at
the Freedom Hall of Lyceum of the Philippines University - Batangas for the Leadership
Seminar.

The Leadership Seminar was all about how students will become true leaders of the society and
what are the different values a true leader should exercise and have.

The leadership seminar started at 9:00 in the morning. Ms. Eyn Mendoza from the CEAS
Department discussed some important things and the requirements to consider for the Vote
Registration in the future. Atty. Red Beredo, the director of OOSA gave the welcoming remarks
to the audience. It was followed by the Senior Vice President of LPU, Mr. Frederick Badillo that
delivered his short message about teamwork and cultural openness. The speaker was Ms.
Catherine Raisa Kimberly Mandigma, RND, Space Nutrionist, discussed about the most three
important values a true leader must encompassed such as passion, influence and courage. The
seminar ended at 11:30 in the morning with giving of certificate to the speaker and to the student
who joined.

Learning Outcome:

The officers of CBA Cultural Society that attended the leadership seminar were able to gain a
wide range of knowledge about the importance of the said values. Also, officers were able to
obtain information about her vision in human space flight and she was able to believe herself that
she can. Hence, officers were encouraged to believe that everything is possible if you put your
heart into it.
