REORIENTATION CUM ORIENTATION ON SPECIAL LAWS PROTECTING WOMEN
AND CHILDREN” CONDUCTED FOR BORLONGAN WATERWORKS AND SANITATION
ASSOCIATION INCORPORATED (BWASA) HELD ON JULY 28, 2022 AT BARANGAY
BORLONGAN, DIPACULAO, AURORA.

I.Opening

The training/ Workshop on Leadership and Values Re-Orientation cum Orientation on


Special Law Protecting Women and Children for Borlongan Waterworks and Sanitation
Association Incorporated officers and members started at 8:15 in the morning through an
opening prayer led by Jovelyn M. Magpali. Followed by a welcome remarks delivered by
BWASA Chairperson Rogelio Dulay. Afterwards, the Development Facilitator Gregory
Alexis A. Costa made a short recognition of participants, gave the rationale of the whole
day activity and introduced the resource person Mrs. Anna Lyn K. Dukha from DARP
Provincial Office.

III. Highlights (Highlights on each of the modules / topics discussed)

And the highlight of the morning's discussion was what qualifies to be a leader. What
are the necessary qualities and abilities that he should possess. Meanwhile, in the
afternoon, the discussion revolved around the importance of laws dedicated to the safety
of women and children. Rights they should and should know.

IV. PINCs (Issues and Problems raised by the participants relative to the
topics discussed.)

Issues raised during discussion are the following:


1. What are the traits of a good leader must have.
2. Values needed in order to resolve problems within the association
3. Is there any Laws that protecting men from the abused of women
4. Why only women has the special law
V. AGREEMENTS

The resource person explained that each leader has his own skills and habits. That
he should use it correctly and properly. Questions regarding the rights of men and the
laws that protect them against abuse by anyone were also answered.

VI. CLOSING

The activity ended at exactly 4:05 in the afternoon.
