MINUTES OF THE CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS (CSO) CONFERENCE 2022 HELD

AT THE SB SESSION HALL, LEGISLATIVE BUILDING CENTRO, BUGUEY, CAGAYAN

ON SEPTEMBER 29, 2022.

1. The registration starts at 8:00 AM by the Secretariat.

2. A short prayer and National Anthem were presented through audio visual presentation.
3. Acknowledgement of Participants was led by SB secretary Arthur M. Pagador Jr, and it
was disclosed that there were twenty-four (24) associations/organizations present as
certified by Mr. Arthur M. Pagador Jr.
4. An opening remark was initiated by Hon. Leeve Millare Antiporda.
5. Then Hon. Karen Angel A. Alariao, gives the overview of the activity and discussed the
relevance of participatory governance where she said, that organizations/associations
must be an active member.

PWDs – 0
PTA- Education -no representative
Student -no representative
Another thing that Hon. Karen Angel A. Alariao said the importance of participation of
organization/association on governance.

A recess for 10 minutes was called by the Master of Ceremony.

6. After that the Code-Mandated Avenues of Participation was discussed by Hon. John Alex
Miranda.
7. Followed by the presentation of MLGOO Vilma Aganus on the MC 2022-83 Guidelines
on Accreditation and Selection of Representatives to the LBs and the Local People’s
Council.
8. Lastly, the CSO Desk Officer- Designate Ms. Leila L. Miranda concluded the synthesis
and ways forward of CSO Conference.
