AN EXECUTIVE ORDER RE-ORGANIZING THE BARANGAY PEACE AND


ORDER COUNCIL (BPOC) OF BARANGAY KUYA, MARAMAG, BUKIDNON.

WHEREAS, the threat to peace and order posed by criminality, insurgency, observation
requires the dedicated efforts of all government official and citizens;

WHEREAS, it is the duty of local officials the law enforcement agencies. The prosecution
services, and similar institution of government to assist the local chief executive in the proper
enforcement of the laws and administration of justice;

WHEREAS, Government efforts at peace and order kneed to be fully coordinated to


effectively prevent and suppress criminality and to maintain public order and
safety of the barangay:

NOW THEEFORE, I JAIME A. LECTAOA., Punong Barangay of Barangay Bayabason,


Maramag, Bukidnon. by virtue of the power vested in me by the constitution and the laws do
order and direct the following:

SECTION I. ORGANIZATION OF THE BARANGAY PEACE ORDER COUNCIL

SECTION II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE BARANGAY PEACE


AND ORDER COUNCIL (BPOC)

1. Monitor and coordinate the implementation of Peace and Order Programs and Projects at
the
Barangay Level.
2. Serve as an information gathering mechanism pertaining to peace and order and
other information that may affect public safety.
3. Monitor and check the nefarious activities of criminal elements.
4. Identify Barangay constituents with strong deviant behavior for referral to appropriate
authorities.
5. Maintain, continuing dialogue close coordination and reports with the City/Municipality
peace and order council. The Municipality Management Coordinating Committee and
the Law enforcement units operating in the Barangay.
6. Formulate Plans and recommend such measures which will improve on enhance
peace and order and public safety in its area of responsibility.
7. Supervise coordinate and monitor the operation of all community-based anti-crime
movements within the Barangay.
8. Undertake periodic assessment of the prevailing peace and order situation in the
Barangay and submit reports with appropriate recommendation to the Municipality
Peace and Order Council.

SECTION III. MEETINGS

The Barangay Peace and Order Council shall meet every month at 9:00 o clock in the
morning at the Barangay Hall and Call emergency meeting it is needed. And evaluate the
implementation of the Barangay Public Safety plan (BPSP) and other relevant issue and
concern pertaining to peace and order of the Barangay.

SECTION IV. BARANGAY PEACE AND ORDER SECRETARIAT

There shall be a peace and order secretariat which shall handle administrative
operational and technical activities of the Barangay Peace and Order Council especially the
secretariat will assist the preparation of documents during meeting and other plans and
activities.

SECTION V. EFFECTIVITY

The organization of the Barangay Peace and Order Council shall take effect
immediately.
