1. For and on behalf of and by the order and direction of the TANGEDCO

tenders will be received by the Superintending Engineer/TEDC/ Tirunelveli

2. Tender set inclusive of schedule and specification can be had from the

www.tntenders.gov.in e-portal and also downloaded from the TNEB web site

“ www.tneb.in” and bid to be submitted through NIC portal.

The due date for online submission of e-tender and opening of e-tender is

furnished below.

Inviting E-tender for the Supply of Steel Open Rack of size 6½’X3’X1½’ 5
Shelves as per specification

A) ” AS PER SPECFICATION” THROUGH E-TENDERING (Through NIC

Platform)

B) The Process involves vendor’s registration with NIC e-procurement portal. Only

after registration, the vendor(s) can submit his Bids electronically. Electronic
 Bidding for submission of Bid as well as price Bid over the internet will be done.

C) The vendor should possess class II signing type digital certificate. Vendors are

required to make their own arrangement for bidding from a computer connected

with Internet. NIC/TANGEDCO shall not be responsible for making such

arrangement. (Bids will not be recorded without Digital Signature)

D) The Superintending Engineer/ TEDC/ Tirunelveli reserves the right to reject any

tender or all the tenders without assigning any reason there for.

E) Technical literature and pamphlets for the offered items should be enclosed along

with the offer.

F) The tenderer who have already registered with TANGEDCO should upload a copy

of registration certificate issued by TANGEDCO in www.tntenders.gov.in portal,

otherwise it will be deemed that the contractor is only an unregistered contractor.

G) If the above due date happens to be a holiday, the tender will opened

electronically on the next working day without any change in the timings.
