Meal Amigo will be offering two categories of food products: a) Meal In A Cup and b)
Kakanins for snack. They will also serve a heathy juice together with the meals and snacks.

Meal In A Cup

Sweet Potato Fish Nuggets. It is made from fish meat mixed with sweet potato that is breaded,
then deep-fried.

Chicken BBQ Tocino. This dish is a grilled or fried lean chicken breast marinated with local
honey, paprika and garlic.

Picadillo Lumpia. It comprises of ground lean pork, diced potatoes and carrots, peas and tomato
sauce wrapped in a spring roll or lumpia wrapper then deep-fried. It is served with Meal Amigo’s
signature red sauce.

Kakanins

Sapin-Sapin. Steamed cakes infused with a classic favorite kakanin dessert. It has ube, coconut
milk and toasted caramelized desiccated coconut and peanuts.

Monggo Turon. It is Meal Amigo’s unique, sweet and creamy snack made of mashed monggo
seed, rolled in a spring roll or lumpia wrapper and then deep-fried. It is dipped with tablea sauce
that adds to its sweetness.

Juice

Tanglad-Kalamansi Juice. It is a refreshment drink at the same time a herbal drink. Kalamansi
juice partnered with brewed lemon grass leaves sweetened with honey and sugar.
 The business decided to serve their meals in a cup because of its convenience and
efficiency. “Meal In a Cup” contains a cup of rice topped with the chosen viand. On the other,
Kakanins are also being offered since these are much healthier than chips and crackers for
snacks. Moreover, these products are made affordable, accessible and convenient for the students
to encourage them to eat the right kinds of food. Meal Amigo serves healthy foods and drink that
suit the taste of the young students.
