1. Go to your table of contents and add “4.1 Using GCF and LCM with Fractions” as the next
topic on page ______.

You are going to be reading examples in the workbook and doing the “Your Turn” problems in
your NOTEBOOK.

2. Go to p.79 in your packet, and read Example 1, including the explanations in the blue text.

3. Complete problems #1-6 (on p.80) in your notebook. Don’t forget to simplify your answer.
Check your work on the board when you’re finished, and circle any problems that were
confusing to you.

4. Read Example 2 on p.80.

5. Complete problems #8-13 (on p.81) in your notebook. Don’t forget to simplify your answer.
Check your work on the board when you’re finished, and circle any problems that were
confusing to you.

6. Read Example 3 on p.81.

7. Complete problems #15-20 (on p.82) in your notebook. Don’t forget to simplify your answer.
Check your work on the board when you’re finished, and circle any problems that were
confusing to you.

You’re done! If you finish early you can read a book, work on something for another class, or
begin the practice problems on p.83.
