We are once again participating in the Ontario Skaters’ Promotional Contest. This is a raffle organized by Skate
Ontario as a means of fundraising for individual clubs. The raffle tickets are to be sold for $2.00 each, and the
prizes are as follows:
1st Prize: 2020 Nissan Kicks (Est. value $29,000.00)
2nd Prize: $5,000.00 Entertainment Gift Card
3rd Prize: $3,500.00 Merit Travel Certificate
4th Prize: 5 separate prizes of an Apple MacBook Air 13"
5th Prize: 5 separate prizes of an Apple iPad
Bonus Prize: $500.00 Merit Travel Certificate
Each skater is required to sell one booklet of 20 tickets (with cap of 2 per family). On pg. 1 there is a fee of
$40.00. This $40.00 will return directly to you when you sell the 20 tickets, (or you can put your name on all of
the stubs yourself), then just return the ticket stubs to us. You keep the actual tickets. These books of stubs are
returned to the Skating Club Office at any time once completed. Reminders will be sent by email, with respect to
stub return deadline.
The funds raised will go directly towards our increasing ice costs. For every booklet sold, $22 goes directly
to our club. By working together, we can meet the increased ice fees without substantial increases in program fees,
allowing us to continue to provide high-quality skating programs, at every level, for the children and youth of our
community, as we have for many years.
