using their two naked eye without knowing the story of a person and they will continue judging

and sometimes the judgement they had are can’t keep by their own so that they will tell it to the

person and can have a psychological effect to a person.

In a rare display of unity, the Lower House voted unanimously to pass House Bill Number

4982 or “An Act Prohibiting Discrimination on the Basis of Sexual Orientation or Gender Identity

or Expression (SOGIE)”.

“The State recognizes the fundamental right of every person regardless of sex, age, class, status,

ethnicity, color, disability, religious and political beliefs, sexual orientation, or gender identity or

expression to be free from any form of discrimination” the bill states in its policy.

But the bill, which is otherwise known as the SOGIE Equality Act, still has a long way to go

since it also needs to be hurdled in the Senate.

accommodation-related acts of discrimination against people based on their sexual orientation,

our study in General Trias, Cavite with the total of 10 respondents#

Interview with the respondents will be held on Sunday, September 08, 2019.

Equality Bill and explanation about the effect of discrimination among LGBTQ+.
INTERPRETATIONS AND ANALYSIS

The Sexual Orientation and Gender Morality and Expression Equality Bill (SOGIE), Also

known as the Anti-Discrimination Bill. It recognizes the LGBTQ+ as equals and ensures that

their rights are protected as much as everyone’s.

The researchers are aware that this bill does not give equality but special treatment on

LGBTQ+. This bill will cause chaos and the Philippines will be like Sodom and Gomorrah.

Also, this bill will not honor God and disobey what God said.
CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS

This study aimed to determine The Effect of the Discrimination on LGBTQ+ and their

Perception on SOGIE Bill which help to know the different perception of the people and specially

the LGBTQ+ to understand the effect of this topic.

The Committee on the Rights, People has explained that discrimination on the society

“Whether it is over or hidden, offends the human dignity of the people and is capable of

undermining or even destroying the capacity of the people to benefit from social opportunities

Because of the danger that discrimination poses to health protection from all segments of society.

The committee has specifically expressed concern about discrimination against people on the basis

of their sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGIE) in its review of state policies.

RECOMMENDATIONS

The Researchers want to recommend this topic to the following:

•First to the Students of AMA Computer College- Cavite who want to know what is the

perception of ordinary Filipino about SOGIE bill.

•Second to the LGBTQ+ Community who want to inform about the perception of every Filipino

about the SOGIE Bill.

•Third is for the panelists who will be approving this research.

APPENDIX

•This bill was unethical because this bill will disobey what God said.

It’s because on Genesis Chapter 1 Verse 27 it says that “So God created mankind according

to His own image, man and woman, He created them.” This passage was clearly said to us that it

will disobey God’s command about creation.

•SOGIE bill will not outlaw Bible-based beliefs on LGBTQs

Christians like Rep. Eddie Villanueva and other religious will not be penalized for their

beliefs, including that LGBTQ+ Equality Bill becomes a law sonic it respects religious freedom,

the author of one version of the bill said.

•SOGIE bill won’t spoil rights of non- LGBTQ, says former DSWD chief

This was the case posed by former Social Welfare Secretary Judy Taguiwalo on Friday, as

she took up the cudgels for proponents of the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity and

Expression (SOGIE) Equality bill. According to her, it would be narrow-minded for some people

to look at the proposed law that seeks to end discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and

gender identity and expression as a measure that would harm those who do not belong to the sector.
Survey Questionnaires:

1. Are you in favor of Implementing SOGIE Bill for LGBTQ+?

2. When the SOGIE Bill is implemented, will discrimination on LGBTQ+ be reduced?

3. Do you think SOGIE Bill has a positive effect on our society?
