Light Dependent Resistor (LDR)

Aim

To study the characteristic curve of Light Dependent Resistor (LDR).

Procedure

1) Connections are given as per the circuit diagram.

2) Switch ON the power supply.
3) First calibrate the LDR by adjusting 1K pot(P2) such that Vref is 10.3V.
4) Calibration of pot position should result in 0.02mA current flowing through the LDR.
5) By varying lamp voltage in steps of 1V, measure LDR output voltage and thereby we can measure
LDR resistance.
6) Draw the graph between LDR resistance and Lamp Voltage.
