5. Comments:

I thought this class was well-organized. I appreciate the differentiation available for the different levels of students. I
think there could be a little more responsibility given to the students for the readings. I would suggest making the
discussion leaders come up with the discussion question or at least adding one question to the questions given by the
professor.
I appreciated Dr. Bertrand's handling of this course. A six week course is challenging, especially mixing doctoral
candidates with Master's candidates. She differentiated nicely.
I learned so much from this content
Dr. B did a great job of setting up the content of the course. She also did a great job of making sure that examples
were provided. I loved, loved, loved the weekly checklists and thorough descriptions of what we should do. However,
I wish I had heard more of her voice in the online discussions. I wanted to hear from her and her professional
experiences more.

I think Dr. Bertrand is an excellence addition to the faculty at ISU!

A lot, but summer is tight. Good content

I really appreciated that the activities were appropriate and not just "busy work".
The video presentations were intimidating at first. But Dr. Bertrand was helpful in anyway we needed and willing to
offer guidance.

13. What other information would you like to share regarding the course?

I'm trying to understand its "fit" in the required courses for doctoral study. Much of it we all should have had in some
form in our undergrad work if we were teaching candidates. I enjoyed the review, but it was most definitely review.
I found it very interesting. I love the text book! I am keeping for sure.

Some directions were not clear and concise.

Discussion board: I am fairly accustomed to having research mixed with opinion. It felt like, when some disagreed
with others, they used solely their opinions without backing it up in some way. I am not saying they should cite every
word, I am just saying that opinions should be half of the response. Also, discussion leaders should be sure that no
one's posting goes without at least one response.

This area was of high quality.

I enjoyed the Google meet up and trying new technology. Open to ideas and feedback
Dr. Bertrand was available by email all the time. She was quick to respond to any email that I sent. Her responses
always encouraged me to keep going. She encouraged me to contact her whenever I had a question.
The professor was enthusiastic and easy to talk to. She was timely in designing and maintaining the course, as well as
