In behalf of the College of Law 2nd year students of the Lyceum of the Philippines
University-Cavite, I would like to request for your approval to allow us to conduct a
FREE SEMINAR on Children in Conflict with the Law (CICL) and Diversion
Program in your barangay on the 13TH day of July 2019 (Saturday) from 3:00
p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The seminar aims to increase the awareness of individuals and different sectors of the
community on the protection and rights of children in conflict with the law, and
diversion program highlighted under Republic Act No. 9344 otherwise known as the
“Juvenile Justice and Welfare Act of 2006”. It will also serve as a venue for every
participant to have an interactive and participatory discussions regarding pertinent or
relevant issues in the community.

In view of the foregoing and to ensure that the event will be more beneficial to your
constituents and colleagues, we would like to request for your assistance in
encouraging them to attend this free seminar. We are also requesting to conduct a
short interview and survey on matters related to VAWC. Rest assured that all the
information that will be gathered will only be use for assessment, research and
academic purposes only. We will also be giving you the copies of the result and
possible recommendations.
