VIII. CONCLUSION
Literature survey and user survey helps to identify the
problem people are facing in current scenario. Taking
customer’s voice and technical requirements QFD is plotted.
QFD is used to meet customer’s requirements. The main
reason behind the concept generation is to make such
mechanisms to eliminate the creep in order to show the
accurate weight and ease of handling of cylinder. In this
four concepts are generated out of which best concept is
selected based on key criteria as shown in Fig 7. Hydraulic
jack operated system is selected by using weighted ranking
method. After the concept selection we focus on product
architecture and fabrication by applying design for
manufacture for the future scope.
