Step-by-Step
1. Brainstorm as a group which
materials you believe will 1.)
freeze 2.) reverse and complete
the my investigation plan
2. The materials manager will
collect your chosen six
liquids, a tray and a measure
spoon/cup
3. You will then take it in turns
to pour the correct amount in
each slot, the media tech
taking a photo of each step for
reference
4. Every hour check on your liquid
with a popstick
5. Now its time to put your
reverse predictions to
practice!
6. All materials that are frozen
will be placed in desired heat
and changes of state will be
recorded

Brief
Today you will be in a group of 4
to investigate whether a given
material can be reversed or not.
You will need to allocate roles
using the tags from last lesson
and work together to first freeze
the liquid and then predict and
then experiment with different
heating instruments to turn the
solid back into a liquid. This
experiment will be over two days.
